Brackenstyle devon hardwood outdoor dining set table and 4 chairs
I bought a brackenstyle devon hardwood outdoor dining set consisting of a square table and 4 chairs at the cost of £399 from this company which according to the sales literature makes much of the durability and suggests that it is suitable for residential and commercial situations and that it withstands weathering with minimal maintenance. Unfortunately this is not true, the table and chairs have deterioated quite badly over the past 2 years. It has not weathered well and looks badly worn, even though it was covered all winter. The cost of the product is also higher than many other similar benches. This is OK if the quality matches the description and most people would be prepared to pay more for a more durable item, but I think we have paid a premium for a product that in fact is not really more durable than many cheaper alternatives. I believe that the description of the product was not accurate. LeisureBench Ltd told me that the item was outside of the manufacturer’s warranty period of one year. As such, they were unfortunately unable to offer a replacement. The bench is only 2 years old. I am very disappointed and annoyed that nothing can be done about this. I just thought I had better tell others to make you aware. I WOULD AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.
