It was a bank holiday weekend the carpet needed ordering in and the carpet fitters were fully booked and they still got it done! Absolutely brilliant service. Highly recommended.

Wanted a good quality LVT floor to replace a vinyl floor covering.
Went to Maltby’s partly as I knew they would have a good selection & my parents always used them stating “Get good quality it lasts”.
The staff were really helpful advising of the different qualities and insisting we take the samples home to ensure they were right even though I thought I was decided. Thankfully we listened and three further visits later a decision was made.
The quote arrived rapidly and was very good.
Maltby’s were able to fit in with our demands regards when the fitting could be done.
On the first day the fitter Matt arrived promptly, he was friendly and told us what would be done, the previous flooring was cleared and the floor prepared for fitting.
On the second day Matt prepared the foot and then commenced laying the floor.
When he finished other than the new floor you wouldn’t of known he had been in the house, he left the room spotless.
On the whole the process of buying and having the floor fitted was a real pleasure.

When we decided to re-carpet our whole house, we visited several carpet shops to seek advice on selecting the best floor coverings. It was immediately obvious that Chris and the team at Malby’s had by far the best product knowledge in the area. The showroom in Brook street boasts an extensive selection of carpet samples and we were allowed to borrow whatever samples we wanted to try them out at home.
When quoting, Chris produced a detailed breakdown of the measurements, cutting list and cost. We therefore knew exactly what we were getting and his price was significantly lower than other quotations we had obtained. Chris knew that quality was very important to us and allocated top quality fitters.
The installation went brilliantly. Matt, Simon and Harry worked really hard for us and we are more than delighted with both the carpets and the luxury vinyl tiles.
As the carpets we were replacing were still in good condition, we wanted to pass them on to one of our daughters. Chris was extremely helpful in measuring up to check they would fit and even arranged fitters to do the work. She too was delighted with the outcome.
I can’t recommend Malby’s highly enough for their excellent quality, value and customer service.

I requested quotes from 5 local businesses for carpet, underlay & fitting over 2 floors and ply & luxury vinyl over one floor for our full house renovation. 

1 didn't bother to reply ;

1 couldn't quote as they couldn't do the work in time ;

1 was that unprofessional when I called I didn't follow up ;

1 was very very costly for exactly the same products and work;

Maltbys replied to the request for a quote super quick (and Chris Maltby had visited the site for full measure-up before others had even acknowledged my email).
Maltbys quote was excellent on price and Chris even asked fitters from other areas to come and do the work as we were on such a tight timescale. 

Every fitter who attended did a great job. The two carpet fitters from Wrexham had great attention to detail and their work was excellent. 

Mike who fitted the luxury vinyl flooring was beyond excellent. Professional and the finish was amazing. My husband is a picky surveyor and even he couldn't find fault!
