Essential education is the best education program. I left school over 30 yrs. I was afraid to further my education. I came across essential education. The program is simply the best. I am preparing for my GED . The teaching method is simple and easy to understand. You get to choose your study schedule. The price is reasonable for a vast area of different educational skills. Not really satisfied with the classes!

You can learn a lot,
But many questions are vague, with double standards. Eg: They try to get you on trick questions, but if an answer has a typo in it, it can still be the correct answer (with the typo). This doesn't make any sense!
Also, some questions are vague, in a sense that you don't know what context it's written for. Many times, they shift focus on the context, and the question isn't clear about it, forcing you to give a 'wrong' answer.
Your answer could be correct, yet they mark it as wrong, because they're talking about a different context without specifying it clearly.
Also, vague questions that don't make sense, like: "What emotion does the structure of this paragraph convey?" Is like, WTH? The structure is a concept! It has no emotions! Learn to formulate your questions correctly, especially if you're in the business of teaching!!!
A lot has irritated me in this class!
I've had a few math issues, where A proved B, but B could not prove A. Thus the correct answer they were giving to the question, didn't apply.
I don't think they think too deep about all the answers they're expecting to get. People with a higher than 140 IQ will have trouble doing this course, as a lot of their answers will be incorrectly flagged as wrong answers, due to the fact that the tutors don't see how their questions can be interpreted in 2 or more ways, and the answers to that depend on the context of the question!
Eg: X can be +2 or -2. But using the right math, it becomes clear X can only be +2. To say that X= +2 or -2, would be correct using the methods they're using in the chapter connected to the exam right after, but would be incorrect when trying to solve the problem with normal math!
On a real GED exam, they're not going to tell you what methods to use!

They also don't accept any correction on their website! If I tell them about an error, they just refer me to a study guide, instead of trying to fix the question so it couldn't be interpreted in a variety of ways!
Usually, I would understand the question, when I know the teacher, and know what he means with it.
I don't know the teachers of this course. I don't know what out of the 2 or 3 possible scenarios they're referring to, and need to use my judgement to determine which it most likely will be. And even then I could be wrong.

On average about 5-8% of the questions are riddled with errors.
The Reading portion is the worst. The classes are not well explained or clear at all!
