Credit card glitch - country of origin

The transaction was very smooth. Would have given 5 stars except that it would not accept my preferred credit card and kept telling me they did not accept US credit cards even though I was using a CIBC Mastercard.

I had ordered the wrong phone on apple

I had ordered the wrong phone on apple, when I called the customer service eat pay bright, the guy on the phone was so rude, basically said my fault and still had to pay the loan and extra charges - the manager at the apple store spoke with him and also told him to help more- he said the call volume was high and to call back, not again will I use pay bright! and warned others, no help, no support- thank goodness for apple, they reversed things on their side.

Disappointed

I have purchased a few products through PayBright before and have had no issues.

However when I tried to purchase a pair of shoes through Foot Locker for my daughter, the order would not process due to stock issues in her size. The order was never completed & was never confirmed to PayBright. Yet I have since had 2 payments for a non existent order deducted from my bank account.

I contacted Footlocker who confirmed there was no order to cancel & then contacted PayBright. Paybright themselves confirmed through Footlocker that there was no order and yet here we are 3 wks later, my money has not been refunded and they continue to take payments from my bank knowing full well there was never an order placed with this merchant to begin with.

I continue to get the run around when I contact their customer service. They keep telling me its been "escalated" to their technical team for investigation. WHY does this still need to be investigated further? The merchant has already confirmed there WAS NO ORDER. And fully knowing that, are STILL taking money from me? Make it make sense!

If my money is not refunded to me soon, and payments continue to be debited from my bank, I will contact the Better Business Bureau.

Reply: THERE WAS NO ORDER!! How can a merchant refund money PAYBRIGHT took??

Apologies for any inconvenience. It's important to point out that we only handle the financial side of the purchase. The merchant is usually the expert on returns, cancellations, missing orders, and damaged or defective items within their policy.
