Had an easy conversation with Polly about a payment in relation to my dogs insurance policy. Polly was friendly, polite and very helpful.

Dealt with query quickly and efficiently and explained the procedure.

Had a problem in that the policy I set up by phone hadn’t activated. A quick 5 minute call, answered by Will, and all was sorted.

Spoke with Jake and what a pleasure it was. Empathised with my situation, did all he could to help and provided 10/10 customer service. Extremely grateful he was the one to handle my call today.

STRONG ADVICE - COMPLAIN TO THE FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN FOR FREE IF YOUR CLAIM IS REJECTED BY PERFECTPET.

PerfectPet rejected my claim for low folate levels in my dog which caused severe weight loss and diarrhea (£900). My dog has a sensitive stomach which is well documented and I never denied, but this was a different condition - evidenced by blood results, weight loss AND my vet updating the notes to make it clear this was not a pre-existing condition. They rejected the claim on the basis it was a pre-existing condition. I gave them updated vet notes where my vet specifically said that this condition was unrelated to previous conditions. They still rejected my claim. I complained to the independent Financial Ombudsman Service who upheld my complaint and held that PerfectPet had not treated me fairly and incorrectly declined my claim when it was very clear from the evidence that the condition was not a pre-existing one.

Avoid this company. And if they decline your claim, you can complain for free to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Jake was amazing discussing existing policy we had as we were considering changing the cover due to cost . Every explained thoroughly and in simple terms

Had my renewal which was a little expensive so decided to look online for a cheaper quote which i found cheaper elsewhere. I then spoke to perfect pet and luckily Nancy was able to match the online quote so i then made the desicion to stay with my current provider as rated excellent.
