My cat will no longer eat this but did absolutely loved their urinary tract pouches

My cat absolutely loved their urinary tract pouches she suffers from stress cystitis and had for a year no episodes on getting a new order, salmon and chicken multipack as usual over night on starting the new batch refused to touch it she sniffed and walked away contacted Purina and as requested sent a couple of pouches for testing and surprise surprise they said nothing wrong oh apart from my cat wont touch it. excuse cat change their taste in food huh so going from wolfing it down to would rather go hungry overnight is normal this along with other stupid reason as a gesture of good will offer to refund me for the 2 pouches sent to them so i am left with 60 pouches that my cat wont eat and i wont give elsewhere because i dont know what wrong with it so they went in the bin not as caring a pet company as they say

I paid extra to have my cat food…

I paid extra to have my cat food delivered by Next Day Delivery as I have in the past. The reason for this is that they use Evri to deliver regular deliveries and your cat could starve to death before Evri actually deliver it.
Previously it has been delivered by Yodel - great! For some reason, this time they decided to use Evri for a next day delivery. Why would they do that?
Lo and behold - no cat food two days later and the status on Evri is “On its way” which means it is at the depot sitting waiting (god knows for how long).
When asking Purina why they used Evri when it is indicative that they are incapable of delivering next day items, the excuse from Purina is that they don’t have any control who the courier is (?!?) Rubbish!
When customers pay extra for a service, the seller has the responsibility to ensure this service is delivered as agreed!
No more orders from me!

I’m sorry but greedy much??
Btw, judging by other reviews, your excuse of ‘cats cannot eat 100g’ and ‘other competitors do only 85g’, other competitors have more meat in pouches too. Not your random left overs of meat!
Unfortunately, my cat likes the jelly but I will be trying other food for her.
I’m sure eventually, we will move on from your greedy hands.

Greedy bastards. I have been using Felix for many years, but now weaning my 3 cats onto other food.
I wonder how many other people feel the same?

BULK ORDERED FELIX CAT FOOD 10 DAYS AGO & STILL NOT RECEIVED!

BULK ORDERED FELIX CAT FOOD 10 DAYS AGO ON STANDARD DELIVERY. CHASED ORDER DUE TO NON-RECEIPT ON THE 9TH DAY & ADVISED IT APPEARS EVRI STILL HAVE THE PARCEL -SHOCK! CM SERVICE REP SAID WOULD ORGANISE A REPLACEMENT TO BE SENT ASAP BUT REFUSED TO SEND IT ON A NEXT DAY SERVICE AS I HADN'T ORIGINALLY PAID FOR THAT SERVICE. TOTALLY MISSING THE POINT THAT I'D PLACED THE ORDER 9DAYS PREVIOUS & STILL NO FOOD!! RANG AGAIN TODAY TO CHECK WAS SENT YESTERDAY & IT WASN'T!! STILL IN WAREHOUSE, THEREFORE EXPECT IT TO BE DELIVERED 2/3 DAYS FROM DATE OF DISPATCH. BY THAT TIME-IF I DO RECEIVE IT-IT'LL BE EDGING TOWARDS 2 WEEKS FROM ORIGINAL ORDER DATE. RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU'RE NEEDING FOOD FOR A REQUIRED DATE, DON'T ORDER FROM HERE.

Disappointing Delivery & Customer Service

I recently ordered Purina cat food with next-day delivery, expecting prompt service. Unfortunately, the package failed to arrive on time. To make matters worse, when I reached out to customer service for assistance, their response was less than helpful—offering no real solutions or reassurance.

I had hoped for better reliability from a company of this reputation. While the product itself might be great, the delivery experience and lack of customer support left much to be desired. If timely service is important to you, be aware that delays can happen, and support may not be as helpful as expected.

absolutely SHOCKING company !

absolutely SHOCKING company !!
Theives.

I placed an order via a monthly subscription yet never received the goods later for them to dispatch another order. I cancelled my subscription right away after this incident however they’ve then took another payment and “processed an order”. This order again did NOT arrive. This was now in MARCH. I have sent multiple message to cancel this and refund the order. For them to keep telling me the order is “stuck in processing “ however I do NOT want this order. I have cancelled my subscription yet they still take money , send no goods and refuse to refund but send a returns label to return the good THAT I DO NOT HAVE ?!?!?!

Purina avoid giving it to cats

We opened a can of Purina gourmet natures creations rich in tuna, we noticed our cats would not eats it, we found a piece of plastic string in the can which was 6.5 inches long, we contacted Purina, sent pictures and even sent the can and string back, We received a response after a week or so that the reason the string was in the can was we had opened a ring pull can with a can opener and according to them their was indents on the can to confirm this, well we opened it with the ring pull , What a load of tosh, Well all Purina products are now off our cats menu and will not be purchased by us. So there products QOS is need of inspection but try to blame us, don't think so.

Please Do Not get your cats on Purina

Please Do Not get your cats on Purina, the quality has gone down the drain, there is hardly any meat they must be landing Soya or something to cut costs while increasing prices. I Wonder whether they even put the required vitamins minerals etc when they call it a whole food. They also got rid of this for two months. I made a drastic mistake by training my cat on this food when it was good. If I had known I wouldn't have touched this with a barge pole. My cats are stubborn and it's very hard for them to.change. 60 percent of the food gets thrown in the bin in addition I have to add Thrive dried chicken or some other stuff to get my cats to touch this food, although I am currently forced to use it because of my cat situation.

Purina are greedy and covert

Purina are greedy and covert. They sneakily have taken 15g off each Felix pouch and charged the same. So for each 40 pouch purchase we lose 600 grams. No wonder my cat was losing weight. You are robbing people blind and to say that you are avoiding wastage is absolute BS. Again another example of outright and utter greed and capitalism. Weren't you making enough profits before. I've now swopped to a 100g per pouch food and my cat loves it. I hope you have a very unprofitable year. And I'm going to stand near your products in Sainsbury's to warn potential unknowing buyers exactly what they're getting for the same layout. No where on the front or sides of the box does it state the size. Only at the back. GREEDY company. Disgusted.

Withdrawal of hydracare from Ireland

Sent the following message to you!!!

Why have you stopped supplying Ireland with the hydracare for cats?

This is zooplus’s response to my complaint to them taking it from their website and you can see they are saying this a decision you have made.

Zooplus said this

Thank you so much for for taking the time to get in touch with us.

I am so sorry that the unavailability of that specific product is causing so much distress, and I hope you can accept my personal apologies for that.

You are right there, there are instances, on our platforms, of products that are not available in all countries that we serve, and that, together with the sudden changes in such availability, alas, is something we do not control. Our suppliers may decide to make those changes at their end for a number of reasons, and we can only adjust our offering accordingly.

In this case, although still available in other markets such as the German one, unfortunately Purina have suddenly decided to withdraw that specific product from Ireland. Please, allow me to apologise again for the inconvenience that that is causing you.

So I asked you the question why has it gone, copied this to you and this was your (Purina) response!

Hi Joanne, thank you for contacting Purina. We are sorry to hear about this situation.

Anilda 🐾

That’s it!!! That’s as much as you care!!!

15% decrease in pouch size

15% decrease in pouch size, price the same. Luckily turns out my cat loves first non purina brand I trialled as a replacement so we're easing through a change. Won't be treated like an idiot by a company that says consumers wanted the change. Bollocks to that and a hungry cat.

Shame on you Purina

I've been using them for 6 years. I raised an order on 14 March which I still haven't received. I used the chat facility to find out why. Totally useless. They kept repeating that the order was still within the standard delivery timescale and i had to wait. I went back to check, and it clearly states that standard delivery is 2 to 3 days from order. I've waited 6 days and still no cat food and no idea when it will arrive. They used to be good but now.... awful. I wish I could say I won't use them again but if you want specific flavours only there is no other option. Shame on you Purina!

Fed-Up, Although My Cats No Longer Are,Due To Small Pouches

Fed all my cats on Felix for the past 30-plus years because a) my cats liked it and b) it was by far the best value for money at 100g/pouch. Now with their Bull💩 excuse about "avoiding wastage" being the reason for shrinking pouches to 85g, I'm looking for an alternative to feed my boys on. That BS excuse won't wash for people like me who have multiple cats. My boys share 3 pouches between them twice a day, topped up with a science-plan dry food, and there is NEVER any waste. Now I'm having to use 4 pouches per mealtime so that's 2 more per day, I'm using, or 14 more per week or 60 more per month on average - for no less cost. And double the plastic waste! Do you see my point, Purina? Your excuse is utter BULL****! Please do us all a favour and stop treating your customers like idiots.

Purina are so concerned our cats can't manage a 100g sachet

After many e mails to purina to complain about the decrease from 100g sachets to 85g that users allegedly asked for because cats couldn't manage to eat 100g? If I look along the aisles all food is like that? Won't provide stats from these customers (after saying the decisions are made internally). Fears of competitors and on and on. See the last response from them it's such total bull 💩 see below their latest e mail and my response

The pet food industry is highly competitive and, for that reason, we can’t give out all the details of what drives our decision making, as it could put us at a competitive disadvantage. The insights we use to inform product development are, therefore, considered commercially confidential and cannot be shared.

However, please be assured that pets and owners are always at the very heart of what we do. Many cat owners want to feed ‘single serve’ portions and most other cat food brands that provide wet food in a pouch format and other wet cat single-serve products, also offer a similar 85g portion size. This portion size better matches the typical amount of food an individual cat will eat in a meal.

Reviewing consumer feedback across various channels also confirmed the consumer need for the smaller pouch size.

My response : Hi, it was the consumer feedback data that I was looking for. As a consumer/customer this information would in no way compromise the industry. I note that on trust pilot that your customers are very unhappy with your stock responses, hence my concerns.

NOTE: WONT EVER BUY A PURINA PRODUCT AGAIN. COMPETITORS ARE NOW PRODUCING 100GM SACHETS. HA HA PURINA. HOPE MORE PEOPLE DO THE SAME BECAUSE YOU ARE GREEDY LIARS.

Out of date with technology

Tried to enter the competition advertised on my box of Felix pouches. Purina won't accept the entry because ' my email is not accepted by Experian'. I have been using this email for over 4 years, received thousands of emails and sent hundreds of emails all successfully. Surely this makes it a valid email? I think it is because the email ends .uk rather than .co.uk but this has been a valid extension for a good few years now - come on Experian and Purina employ people who understand and can stay up to date with technology.

I took my cat to the vet ‘cos he kept…

I took my cat to the vet ‘cos he kept screaming for food and was losing weight.

“What you feeding’ him?” She ask.
“Felix” say I, worriedly.
“They changed the pack size. Give him 4 pouches a day instead of 3. Didn’t bother to tell the customers. That’ll be £57 for the consultation.”

Dazed, I went home and checked my recent bulk purchase from a huge on-line retailer. Sure enough they are advertising 100g but supplying 85g
That’s a huge 33% jump in cost AND non-edible packaging!
PLUS my cat is getting fat and I might have to visit the vet again

Came here to say the same as everyone else. No wonder my cat eats his food then still wants more. Purina you sneaky barstewards. Bulk packs down by 600 grams but prices remain the same. You'll be loosing my custom. I'm sure my cats will eventually eat another brand, or go hungry. This should be illegal and you should be ashamed.

PRICE HIKE LESS FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW. Was wondering why my cat wanted more food at the end of the night. How disgusting the weight size went down 100g to 85g so you have to feed more and prices went up. Will be switching my cats to a different brand. Been with you for a few years and this is what you do to loyal customers. What a disgusting thing to do. I would have paid more for the same amount knowing prices have risen for the ingredients. Hope you suffer sales losses for this. PURINA WHY DON'T YOU ADDRESS THESE REVIEWS. YOU WONT BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER. GREEDY COMPANY
