Check-in now changed to touch screens, 2 for Priority Line and 2 for Normal Line so queued at desk anyway. Keys now collected from the office in the car park rather than the office in the terminal, so when you get to the car park the money paid for Priority check-in is a waste of time; 1 queue and there were 8 people in front of me waiting to collect their keys! Not impressed with this change so will go back to Goldcar for future reservations...

I booked a Nissan Qashqai (or similar) + a 2nd driver & the FULL works insurance package with AXA.
When I got to the counter they asked me if I wanted a Qashqai and when I said yes, they told me it would be £4 per day extra to have the car that i'd ordered else they'd give me the crappiest remotely similar car even though they actually had the exact car I ordered.
Next - they told me that my insurance was invalid and tried to worry me that unless I bought their own insurance, I would be charged £1400 that could take days to get it back and months in the event of a claim.
Finally, they added £32 for the 2nd driver (that should have been included), so I had to show them proof it was included before they removed the cost because they claimed that they are not told what was actually booked.

Very good service! Booked a car with totally insurance for a good price. We also had express service at thé check in. The car was very good. Return of the car went easy. It was the first time we booked directly with this car rental and it will not be the last time! Thanks for the good service!
Warning don't use this company. They took £400 from my credit card for a scratch that was there when I picked the car up.
First time renting a car and everything was super smooth. From making a reservation and picking up the vehicle at the Alicante airport, to the return itself. It may be a bit surprising that on returning the vehicle nobody goes and inspects the car and, say, the fuel level, but despite a number of negative reviews we had read beforehand, the money charged for fuel at the beginning was promptly reimbursed. So keep up the good job, and saludos to the staff at the Alicante airport!
Disgraceful customer service. I was conned by the agent on the desk into taking their expensive “Total Comfort Package” which is really another name for a CDW. I already had a private CDW. which I had showed the agent. He told me my credit card was being swiped to cover the fuel and offered me a small computer screen to sign the agreement. I will never use these Charlatans again and suggest that nobody else does.
Excellent service,€10 a day with full insurance can not be faulted, check in machines are a great idea there were 4 at Alicante airport plus a check in desk, was full to full and you have to pay in advance for fuel but when returned ful was refunded the same day, my partner left her handbag in the car when we dropped it off and the chap ran after us to return it, will certainly use them again rather than firefly 1* or goldcar 1*
I always use RecordGo and cannot speak highly enough. The pick-up and drop-off is quick and staff are always polite and helpful. The cars are always in good condition and changed regularly so never too old.

BEWARE ABSOLUTE FRAUDULENT CONMEN!!!! I wouldn’t even give this company one star. Hired a vehicle at Malaga Airport, they gave me a Volkswagen van which was scraped, bashed and dented all over. Only drove it 75kms and when returned it they blamed me for all the damage. This is probably because I refused to take out their insurance that I had already purchased through Axa. I had taken my own pictures of the damage when I collected it but they took 900 euros from my credit card. I have hired vehicles before in Malaga airport without any issues so a bit of advice is STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. They have a ticket system also on collection which is an absolute joke also!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Only 4 stars, because rental office location are far from airport, and there is no clear information where starting transfer to parking. Every main rent have desks on terminal 1/2, its will enough for 5 grade.
Happy with the car and the service but we returned the car full after two weeks and the refund is short by 8.4% from that which was originally debited. The exchange rate did not move that much in such a short period of time!
No doubt a scam, which is endemic within so many Spanish car hire companies.
Trouble is, they are all so dodgy, I am running out of alternative options but at least they are not as bad as Goldcar!
We use this car hire company quite a few times a year, staff are always help full and polite, would re recomend.
We rented a car at the Barcelona Airport , late September 2019. Ended up buying insurance that we did not need. The bigger problem was returning the car [this is an offsite rental location]. The GPS information provided by the company could not take us back to their location so we were hopelessly at the Barcelona Airport. We called the office several; times and they were not helpful. Eventually we stumbled on one of their competitors, whose shuttle driver got us back to the location
Can’t recommend these guys enough. Use them monthly in Palma.
