An employee of this business CLAIR McLACHLAN also sits as a sheriff(£126,000 salary p/y)and convicted me of dangerous driving on the 7th June 2024 at Dundee Sheriff Court.She arrived late in court with great swathes of hair protruding over her face from under her wig.Clair was fairly new to the role (appointed to the role some 6 weeks prior)and clearly keen to make her mark.She showed no emotion throughout the proceeding and dismissed mitigating circumstances with callous regard.I was self employed and a conviction for dangerous driving would effectively mean unemployment at 60.My solicitor had already proven he was incompetent by failing to attend my original trial.The first and crucial witness was highly aggressive and demonstrated vengeful feelings towards myself.This was obvious to all present except Clair who disregarded his demeanour.The elderly gentleman in question had reacted with panic due to cognitive degradation and reported me to the local Police.He had colluded with two other similarly elderly witnesses to enhance his version of events.He mentioned a ditch several times which did not exist but my Solicitor failed entirely to challenge his testimony.His first words in court when questioned by the PF "do you recall the events of" "YES HE SHOUTED 598 DAYS AGO" clearly still angry.Despite this his credibility was at no point questioned by Clair.She had made her mind up long before closing statements that I was guilty despite the implications for my future.Indeed she showed no regard whatsoever for my circumstances.Wholly dismissive in a contemptible manner throughout my appearance.Clair has no comprehension of empathy or compassion.She was utterly ruthless in her judgement.I lost my licence, received a fine and was ordered to resit the extended driving test after 42 years of driving.To say I was devastated puts it mildly.Never in my life have I felt so harshly punished by such an uncaring individual.Indeed that evening I suffered a severe panic attack(hyper ventilated)for the first occasion in my life.Clair was responsible for this.A woman I had never met before in my life yet she had the power to significantly impact my life.I will never forget the experience.An HM Forces veteran I was treated shockingly by the entire judicial system at Dundee Sheriff Court.Including the PF who had reported me to PC2223 for allegedly intimidating him(not proven).PC2223 harassed and intimidated me throughout my time at the court.I submitted a complaint to Police Scotland but it fell on deaf ears.The entire experience has left me feeling helpless and humiliated.These 6 months later the feelings show no sign of abating.On that particular road on that particular day in 2022 I was unfortunate to come to the attention of a very malicious and vengeful man who obsessively pursued his revenge.Clair failed completely to see him for what he was.She failed me.I will never forgive or forget her actions that day.
