The flood my wife and I suffered at home was a very distressing experience. The Sedgwick team were always helpful, efficient and supportive throughout the quite lengthy process of getting our home "back to normal". Every part of our claim was met promptly and in full. We could not ask for more.

Linda and Kieran at pcsplymouthdarwin/Sedgwick handled our very long ( over 18 months) and difficult claim with smooth professionalism and sensitivity throughout. The unfortunate appointment by the Surveyors of the first contractors delayed the claim but the replacement contract team were extremely efficient and eventually completed the work satisfactorily. Thanks to Linda and Kieran who kept us constantly updated and made the situation far more tolerable.

Extremely disappointed with @Monzo and Sedgwick insurance. Made to wait 17 days for a video claim validation with no loan phone offered, only to be told after the call that I now have to mail the phone away for inspection. Unacceptable delays and zero support for customers who need their devices for daily life.

I found the whole process very confusing and frustrating as time went on due to a lack of communication. It was difficult to get hold of my allocated loss adjusters to explain was happening. I had to have the decorators back 2x because of what the loss adjuster had agreed to be repainted. It was also difficult to understand what money they were paying back for as it never really tallied with what I had paid out for up front. On one occasion I was ready to put a complaint in because I was not happy with the outcome of the service received as time went on over the three months that the loss adjusters became involved. The whole process could have been a lot simpler and less stressful.

Sedgwick dealt with a car hired from Hertz that hit one of our cars parked on the road.
Things happened very promptly then stalled a little,I needed the car moved off the road as the MOT was running out and the arranged movement for the next day.
I also argued the settlement figure as the car was written off and finally settled got 40% more than the original offer.
I would happily recommend them.

I feel the company could significantly improve how it handles vulnerable customers. After my home was broken into, I was left feeling re-traumatised by the experience. While I appreciate that the side gate has now been repaired, I’m disappointed that the company did not compensate me for the missing electric drill.
At this point, I’ve accepted that this may be how the company operates, but it has left me feeling dissatisfied with the overall service. I am not a happy customer.

From the start was very apprehensive I’ve bean in construction over 40 years and the first 2 representatives weren’t very knowledgable and to be honest not good need more training. After a couple of calls a Paula Higgins came out , credit to her had knowledge and a very good manor about herself 5 stars definite .

First off the loss the adjuster put me at ease at the initial meeting in my home she explained in detail what would happen and managed the process all the way through to the end,they kept in contact and dealt with the claim quietly in the background. I just want to say thank you to Emma Baily and Claire Bentley for all they've done. I would definitely recommend the service they provided to us. It's incredable how easy they have made the process of managing my claim getting the work done quickly and professionally. Very happy

Following storm Goretti in February we discovered after several weeks that 2 roof tiles had slipped and we consequently suffered a collapsed ceiling in our upper lounge. Although Aviva were quick to designate the claim to Sedgwick's it was a few days later that anything could be agreed and we were still suffering from storms so water continued to ingress. However, once we had stressed (in very strong terms) that we were not happy Sedgwick's took charge of the situation. Unfortunately, due to the possibility of asbestos everything was delayed and once this was confirmed it was delayed even further. However, Carly Conway of Sedgwick's was a real blessing and if this was just about her service then the rating would be 5 star - she could not be more understanding or empathetic to our situation and was constantly keeping us updated on what was happening. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of SCI group (asbestos analysis and clearance) or Total Repair Services (ceiling/roof repair) who, we believe, were not concerned about resolving our issue merely increasing the amount of work they could be employed to undertake at the expense of the insurance company. Neither would receive anything above 1 star rating - less if it were possible. With Carly's help and our own investigation we were able to source a local builder to resit the roof tiles, a local builder to repair and paint the ceiling and finally a local asbestos removal company that undertook the work for considerably less than were allocated under presumably the preferred companies by Sedgwick's. As we have said Carly was brilliant and very helpful but I do believe that large international corporations have lost sight of the benefits of letting local residents. who possibly have access to far more competitive solutions to a problem, be trusted to use their local contacts instead of relying on a supposed recommended larger company. As it has proved in our case, we have saved Aviva several hundred pounds if not thousands of pounds by sourcing the solution locally.
