Cheap and brilliant customer service! Friendly and really helpful the customer call back is the best so no waiting on hold for hours they ring back soon as someone is available wasn’t long at all 15mins top and I had a call back great service that thanks spark!
So easy to switch, with very freindly efficient staff.
Do not use Spark Energy! Their prices are far too high. Avoid at all costs!
If I could give this Company a rating of zero stars I would.
All I want is a bill to which I can pay against (don't I have a right to see the breakdown of charges i.e. no of days, standing charges and tariff?)
All they do is bring in the Debt Collectors.

Data is gathered and an annual average energy usage can be drawn from this data which can then be used to predict your costs based on current energy pricing. With this in mind it should be reasonable to assume your monthly payments should stay static regardless of whether you submit metre readings, or not. Not Spark, if you neglect to submit metre readings their “system” assumes your usage must have increased by 33% and they will amend your direct debit to reflect this increase and inform you by email. There is no proactive aproach to inform customers prior to amending. Those paying £900 annually will now pay £1200 annually, how many miss the email? Not the type of practice I expect from an energy provider. I’d stick with the big 6.
The company has no consistency within its customer service policy and procedures. It's pot luck if you get good adviser who will do as they promise. As a whole I will be leaving as they over promise and under deliver
It was quick and easy to transfer... The Guy who helped me through it was considerate and and kind all the way through and made me feel reassured. I have no regrets as I was thinking of changing my Energy Supplier after being with my previous one for so long and not feeling happy with their prices and custom. Thank you!
pretty good; phonecalls at awkward times though.
Terrible company, always chasing me for payment when I've payed all I owe passing my details onto debt collectors for patheticly low amounts while I've been on holiday. I hate spark. I'm changing my energy supplier as soon as I return to u.k. Avoid.
First time 5/3/2018 I give 5* beacause I sepak with costumer services and they help my they promise recalculated last bill and we made diract debit from 13 april .
Yesterday I got letter I have to pay direct debit 22 of march f 82 and 13 april f82.
I sill waiting for recalculated I schould recive them 10 days a go .
I call to them waiting 33 m for I have to pay, I send mail and schould recive answers 2 days a go , the chat when I sterted written about complains it us alweys cancel , I send plase to contact wit me were they schould call back .
No answer from 15 days .

Within 2 weeks:
7/3 They credited my account with £891.93
13/3 They emailed, requesting payment of £98.57 (why didn’t they adjust the credit!!!)
13/3 I replied asking them to use the direct debit that was still set up
20/3 They emailed me saying my account is ‘seriously overdue’ and threatening debt collection. (they had not bothered to reply to my email)
21/3 I made the payment manually and cancelled the direct debit.
During the time I have been using their supply my account has always been in credit mostly between £1000-£2000 and they have the nerve to say my account is seriously overdue after a week when they haven’t even replied to my email!!
Is there something you would like Spark Energy to help you with? No - too late I switched supllier.
Quality and efficiency of the customer service unacceptable low. This judgement is based on the multiple occassions.
Current one: I have talked over the phone and via chat, I have sent emails to two different group email addresses with no response over a month. Response promised in chat discussion but no one has followed up with me.
I have been Spark energy customer now for 8 months and everytime I need any support it is a nightmare and timeconsuming. As a full employed I dont literally have time that is required when being their customer.
In addition to unacceptable low customer service their online services are poor as well. There is no option to get bills via email and you can’t get a receipt of your payment via email or found it in your online profile. This information is based on the information I have received from their personnell.
