I reported the fault about 5.30 one…

I reported the fault about 5.30 one evening. An engineer attended within 3 hours but was unable to fix the problem as it was an external fault.
The following morning engineers arrived about 8.30. 9.30 and a bit later. When I arrived home about 9 pm the problem had been isolated and was soon resolved.
All the engineers were polite but I would particularly like to praise Tom , who arrived about 9.30 am and didn’t leave until about 9.30 pm. He remained positive and polite throughout.

A major utility company that cares.

Called UK Power due to a power outage in our local area.
Their polite and friendly staff quickly acted on my report and immediately sent out an engineer to deal with the issue, they also kept me updated by text messages with progress reports. Well done UK Power.

Power Cut at my home

I phoned UK Power when I had a power cut and the person was helpful and asked if there was any vulnerable people in the house, there was not. He did reassure me that they will deal with the problem and will contact me when work is complete. They did get back to me once the power was restored though it was about an hour afterwards.

Lack of updates

Lack of updates We have electricity via our neighbours but UK Power Network seems to be reluctant to repair our supply. I phone up for an update but all I get in return is "The matter is in hand" with absolutely no commitment. The electricity supply trips out occasionally and I have to go next door to reset the supply.

The last time I had a power cut they…

The last time I had a power cut they phoned frequently to update me and check on my wellbeing. But the part I don't like is when they restore the power for a couple of minutes every hour or so because you can only claim for loss of power if it's continuess which I find mean.

Great communication .

Great communication .. power cuts happen not a lot can be done about it but when you’re kept updated by text so you know what’s going on it makes the difference . We were notified of any changes and an estimate of how long the electric would be off for . Can’t ask for more thank you .. and the power was put back on very quickly also cannot remember date so date is random

Very efficient

I called today as there was a power cut in my area (Morden, Surrey). I spoke to Craig who was very helpful and explained what the issue was in the area and that the engineers are on the way. I asked for updates via text message. I got regular updates about the repair, including a message to say another team memeber is taking over and who will be in touch with me. Super efficient team and they got the power back within an hour or so. Really appreciate the very efficient service.

You're Simply The Best

We had a huge amount of ivy growing up a lamp post outside our property which concerned us with regards to our electricity / internet connection. We contacted UK Power Networks, who attended and sent Luke Campe to deal with the hard workload involved with all the ivy. UK Power Networks have an exemplary worker in their team who should be commended as being first-class, hard working and most pedantic in his work. We couldn't be happier to have had him do this job for us. Thanks again Luke Campe and UK Power Networks.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. Always kept fully informed of what is happening and receive regular, meaningful updates. I've always been very impressed with any contact I've had with them. Super helpful, reassuring and friendly. Can't rate them highly enough.

I found the whole experience from…

I found the whole experience from getting advice to installation was very pleasant, all the staff were very courteous and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are in need of upgrading your power requirements.

Supplying us with a generator for a few…

Supplying us with a generator for a few days while the main cable was repaired kept the house powered. The engineers were helpful and quick in replacing the damage. They even explained how the new technology and equipment were superior to the old cables.

I was kept informed on what was happening and how long it would be before I had power but on the other hand I am 70 and live alone and only had a torch for light my power was off from 8.15pm to 1.15 am

Woke up early and power was out

Woke up early and power was out. Couldn’t locate a fault but soon received a text advising there was a cable fault affecting my postcode. This was reassuring and subsequent texts updated the response.
Tremendously helpful service.
Can’t remember the exact date so have guessed below.
