This website is a SCAM! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!!!!!

This website is a SCAM! We ALL know that Covid-19 is not an excuse anymore for not reimbursing their clients. My flight was scheduled on March 19th and when it got cancelled they told me it would be reimbursed with 2 months of waiting. So, this would mean receiving the voucher (one does not even have an optio to choose the money or a voucher) by mid march. Another month has passed and they told me within the next 14 days I would receive it. Still nothing! I only receive automatic replies from the customer service and will now legally move forward. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Easyjet reimbursed me right away and within two days from the cancellation I had my money back on my credit card. I herewith apply to all the people considering to book through this website- do not do it. They fool you. Now, that it is possible to fly again I am not able to book since they keep on not reimbursing me. This is the WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DON'T BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!

Please save yourself ALOT of trouble and heartache! This company is a scam! Stay away from them. Book your tickets DIRECTLY through the airlines. It is NOT worth any money they say they can save for you. You will lose in the end run. We booked a flight to Ireland for 5 people. We gave them our credit card to pay for all five bookings. We received a receipt and the money was charged to our credit card. Then the Corona virus hit and Ryan Air cancelled our flight. We received a message from Ryan Air stating we would receive a refund within 7 days. IN addition, we charged baggage but dealt directly with Ryan Air. Because the flight was cancelled we received our refund for the baggage BUT NOT the flight , whom we booked through Voltagratis Travel. When we did not receive our refund we contacted our credit card company to see what happened. We IMMEDIATELY KNEW WE WERE BEING SCAMMED! Meanwhile, we had found out that Voltagratis Travel took it upon themselves to take the name of one of our friends on the travel itinerary and ASSIGN a credit card number BELONGING to Voltagratis Travel agency to HER NAME. Mind you...they did this WITHOUT her permission...which I would think is a Fraud! When our friend questioned them about the refund they said because of the Corona virus it would take "a while" to "process" the refund...HOWEVER...we KNOW they received OUR refund within 7 days AFTER the flight was cancelled! It has NOW been FOUR months. Anyone would KNOW that if they received the refund in 7 days...they had the money in "their hands"...how long does it take to return it to the person it belonged to? It was obvious to us..they had NO INTENTION to return the money. We found out from Ryan Air about the shady workings of Volagratis when we talked to them directly about the refund. It is OBVIOUS that this is a scam that Volagratis do to ensure that If a flight is cancelled the money does NOT go to the person who paid for the flight...but DIRECTLY TO THEM! They have our money and will not return it NOR within these FOUR months they never even offered vouchers. We have seen NOTHING....ONLY messages saying they "are working on it".. Volagratis have NO PLANS ON RETURNING OUR MONEY NOR PROVIDE VOUCHERS! This is clearly a SCAM. The latest email we received from them is asking us to drop the actions by our credit card company and for us to send them a letter to that fact. ARE THEY SERIOUS? Mind you...in this letter they did not offer to return our money NOR offer any vouchers. DO THEY THINK WE ARE STUPID? This issue can easily be RESOLVED BY THEM RETURNING OUR MONEY! There is NO WAY we would stop our credit card company from investigating this unless ALL our money was returned. It is in their hands! This tells me this is an ongoing SCAM that many people fall for. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. Meanwhile...the credit card company is working to get our money back and hopefully expose Volagratis for what they are!!! Scammers!!. Hopefully, they will resolve this and no others will get scammed by this company. I hope this helps you in future travel.

This is the worst agency to buy a flight , i wouldn't adivise you to get a ticket from them .I bought a ticket this year they airline cancelled the flight and volagratis promised to give me a voucher to get my return ticket which has taken over 3 months my visa has expired and i have a sick mother with cancer back home i am unable to travel back because iam still waiting for my refund everytime i call to sollicite they just keep lying to me. So the agency is not serious and not helpful .Please don't trust them .i have learnt my lesson and this is the last time i will ever get a ticket with them. I will sue this company and Reading from the comments it seems we are dealing with crooks , If Someone has been Swindled like me lets involve the press like striscia la notizie for those leaving in Italy . I am already in contact with a legal system and i will email the press so the can follow these cases if you are willing to help me expose this company let me know. Ad ottobre 2019 ho prenotato un pacchetto Volo + hotel per Colonia con partenza da Treviso il giorno 10marzo 2020 con Ryanair e il ritorno per il 12 marzo con Germanwings con arrivo a Venezia, il nome dell’hotel è il Kommerz centrum di colonia.
Vivendo nella Zona Rossa in provincia di Venezia e visto che qualche giorno prima della partenza avevano vietato gli spostamenti nelle zone rosse in Veneto, ho provato a mandare email..ma niente, ho provato ad annullare il pacchetto attraverso l’app di Volagratis ma non mi accettava la cancellazione, così ho provato a chiamare il call center(10volte al giorno per più di una settimana), ma niente, mettevano giù la linea ancora prima di rispondere,così impossibilitato a muovermi (non per motivi miei ma divieto per Coronavirus) ho perso il volo e 300 euro del pacchetto.
Zero serietà e responsabilità.
Non prenoterò mai più con loro.

In October 2019 I’ve booked a package hotel+flight from Venice to Cologne with the departure date for March the 10th and the return date for March the 12th.
As March approached and the Covid-19 became something new in our daily life a I tried to contact the call center to cancel my flight and have a refund, as I live in the red zone area near Venice and I couldn’t get out of the house, but no one answers my calls, they didn’t reply to my emails and when I tried to cancel my flight through the app, it didn’t allow me to submit the cancelation, so I lost my flight and 300€.
I’ve never seen such a company with no respect and professionalism for their customer.
This was Unacceptable.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

2019年10月時我預訂了飯店和機票3/8-3/9(義大利-威尼斯到德國-科隆),由於3/8前2天(3/6)我所居住的地區因為病毒關係被封鎖無法出門,因此無法坐上飛機,當時我和客服連絡卻沒有人回應。請大家不要使用這個網站訂票,小心!

Failed to book my ticket

I booked a flight with Volagratis from a Google Flights search. There was a great sale from Milan to Los Angeles. My credit card was charged but 30 hours later I received an email saying my reservation was not confirmed. Although my credit card was refunded I lost the sale and tix now cost 2.5x more ($1,300 more for the 3 tix together!). 1 star for not delivering on the reservation. I will never ever use Volagratis again to book a flight.

Unfortunately, airline prices are extremely dynamic therefore there can be a fare increase from one second to the next and on certain occasions between your booking request and confirmation from the airline.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I’ve tried to modify my booking two times without any success. I’ve phoned them a couple of times but the customer care was awful. No way to sort my problem out.

Whether a change is possible and the cost of it depends on the airline and the type of ticket purchased as rules vary greatly. Most airlines charge a standard fee (normally per person per flight) for changing your flight, plus any difference in price.
In this case, as far as we can verify on our internal system, we were unable to contact the airline, so we couldn't confirm the change.
