Bad QA - good UK service - good product when not defective.

Quality assurance from the factory very poor, but service from the UK distributor very good.
First lawnmower delivered had jammed height adjustment. Replacement delivered the next day, but this one had defective handle clamp; another replacement delivered the following day and works well.
Service from the UK distributor was very good, but product quality assurance from the factory clearly not what you would expect of a reputable German manufacturer. No evidence of a quality check.
