Review of Toluna
I am sure that as soon as I declare…
I am sure that as soon as I declare that I am retired, 0ver 60, Toluna just do not want to know. I have plenty of other things to do in my retirement than to give bona fide feedback. Just so fed up of wasting time filling in the first part which takes an average 15 minutes, then to be told I don't meet their criteria. Can this company not post a recommendation ie - We are looking for retired folk aged 64, married, house owners with no children or pets? Would save a lot of time and save them a lot of survey reward money which I am not that desperate to earn given that it is mere pennies.

Please rest assured that none of the information you submitted prior to a screen out is saved or used. When you don't qualify for a survey the points are not rewarded as your responses are not used in the final research findings and we don’t get paid for them either by our clients.
To increase your chances to qualify for future surveys we recommend making sure that your profile surveys are complete and up to date. Your Profile Surveys can be accessed directly from the "Survey Centre" or via the Surveys menu in the header: "Surveys" -"Profile Surveys".
Profile Surveys are designed to help us improve the level of service we provide and allows us to send you surveys that you are most likely to qualify for.
Toluna's profiling process is continuous — the objective being to have broad and current attributes on each member. Our clients make marketing decisions based on responses from our members in their surveys so we must implement strict quality controls to make sure you are part of the target the client is looking for. The questions we ask at the beginning of each survey may seem repetitive but are necessary to ensure the integrity of the survey sample.
Let’s say that based on your profile, we invite you to a survey for smokers, but you do not smoke a certain brand that our client is interested in and, consequently, the survey will stop and you will be redirected to a new survey. We have plenty of opportunities for all age groups, professions, regions, incomes, shopping habits, etc. As long as all your profiles are complete and up to date, you will have much more chances to qualify.
