Rang 3 times trying to install my sage…

Rang 3 times trying to install my sage bureau back to version 20 (which was a bought version).
Very helpful staff, however had a problem with uninstalling stuff (particularly microsoft.net - which had knock on issues for other software) - as sole trader accountants we do not have an IT department.
I think it might have been easier to explain to me that due to operating software technology advances that version 20 would not now work. Admitedly i wouldnt have been happy (as i paid for the software outright & felt it should still work) but in the long run would have saved me a lot of grief & more wasted time trying to load it. Version 23 onwards i think it was loaded easily which maybe is what i have to accept is the way things are done these days (embracing it is getting harder - you will start to understand in 20 - 30 years time).
