Poor delivery service and dishonest customer service.

The parcel I sent was not received. The tracking information page
said it had been successfully delivered. Tried to call them, as their website advertises that it is possible to speak to someone. This is a lie - the number just provides an automated message telling you to go online. Contacted them by chat, had to wait one hour. The (seemingly) helpful person told me the parcel was damaged (their fault) so sent it back to me rather than deliver it. She said I had to pay for another delivery. I refused as I had already paid for the service. She offered a 50% discount, I said no. After much arguing I was told that I would receive a voucher for a fully free sending by email. This was never received. So in summary not only did they damage the parcel and fail to deliver it, they also lied to me in order to get rid of their customer-care problem. Shameful.

All good until the final step

All good until the final step, after payment - you then get a message that they need to check with the rental company if the car offered is actually available and that it can take 3 hours. Not good service when you need to finalise your travel arrangements.

Very pleased with customer service

There was an issue with the items I purchased, and although it was the manufacturer's fault, Andrew at DiscountHomeLighting was really helpful to obtain a psotiive resolution to the problem.

Very poor quality - avoid this product range

This bathtub is not to be recommended if you are looking to achieve a good quality, long-lasting bathroom. This has been a very disappointing purchase. It looks good which is why I can it give it one star, but apart from that:
- it feels cheap: the sides flex under the smallest pressure, the feel is low grade plastic.
- the surface is extremely fragile and gets damaged very easily. After the first use by our children the bath toys which we've had for years had left some coloured marks which are impossible to remove without damaging the surface.

I only realised this after spending thousands on refurbishing my bathroom, and now what can I do as I can't afford to have it removed and replaced. I feel very let down as I expected much more from a well-known brand like Bathstore.

It is disappointing to hear that you are unhappy with the quality of the 'Pool Thermaform' bath. We supply hundreds of this product each year as it is a popular range; our technical team have advised that Acrylic, by its very nature, will flex should pressure be applied to the sides of the bath. In relation to the marks left by your children's bath toys, we recommend that you try a product called Acryl Star, its a polish by a company called Cramer, this can be sourced from most local plumbers merchants. Do not buy from Valuebasket.com. Awful (in fact, non-existent) customer service

Valuebasket.com are lever in making their site look like it is a local site (European phone numbers, local currency, etc). In fact they are some sort of wholesaler based in the far-east. Unfortunately I realised this too late and my order was placed. I tried to cancel it but it is simply not possible to do that (although they claim that it is)

They also pretend to have 24 hour custoner service, bit by phone and email. This is absolutely untrue. I tried calling them and no-one EVER answers the phone.

Finally the delivery ws promised within 12 days and this was not the case.

In short, stay well clear of this company as the saving is not worth the fact that you will not have a warranty, and their service is atrocious.
