Used to be great

Used to be great, but delivery time are very slow. Told me they had shipped my new bass over 24hrs ago, but UPS say they still haven’t received it from them.

You wanted me to reply to you via email, I did that and all I got back was my shipping number (already had that), so whilst you show concern on here, it’s actually a complete waste of time. Terrible customer service and delivery is now 5 days. Used to be 3, which was my point in the 1st place.

Same as everyone else on here, just been ripped off by Packlink fining me £40 for a parcel where I followed their instructions completely to the letter.

Total rip off company, I won't be using them again, and will use eBay less as a result.

Never hit delivery times.

I’m a prime customer. Just lately I have ordered items that were promised next day delivery. I can only assume that is a joke, as that rarely happens. Needs trading standards to investigate!

Sadly I can’t give less than 1star

Sadly I can’t give less than 1star. Awful company, e-mailed me to say the would deliver today. Chased them because they didn’t, they tell me they put it on the wrong vehicle, by time they realised (9.35am), the right vehicle had left.

Then they forgot how to send e-mails! So I wasted all day waiting for this pathetic excuse of a delivery company to deliver.

Useless!

Definitely don't believe the web page.

Same experience as Mary previously. Was supposed to be delivered today, which is what was agreed at purchase. Not sign of it, phoned up and was told it would be delivered tomorrow instead. Poor communication and I've wasted a day waiting in for something that won't be delivered.

Not good.

Update: When it did arrive it had not been setup in anyway. The front Derallier doesn't work. I'm going to have to go to a cycle shop locally to get it set up.

These are charlatans, don't give them your money, I wish I hadn't.

Hello Mark, I am sorry to hear that your order was delayed by a day. We always endeavor to get all orders out in time for the estimated delivery date, however it seems in this instance a slight delay has occurred which has meant it going out a day late. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Total Rubbish

Been tracking the delivery all day, number 52. The driver got to the village 4 miles away (8 deliveries away). Then the information disappeared, with a message saying it would still be delivered today. Guess what, it wasn’t.

Note to sellers, I won’t buy from you if you use Yodel.

Sent the wrong colour

Sadly they sent me the wrong colour cab. Fender Rumble 210 with Silver grille became a black one. Didn't actually have the Silver one they advertised in stock. So not that happy. Didn't want the hassle of sending it back, but I won't buy from them again (they didn't seem very apologetic).

Update: Gordon has replied. I have now arranged to send it back no hassle and at their cost. He couldn't have been more helpful, so I have upgraded my review to 5 stars. Thanks Gordon.

Fender are currently out of stock of the Rumble 210 with silver grille with no estimated date as to when they are next available.

Not reliable!

Ordered a Amp head because they said delivery on Friday 19th April. Great I need it for the 20th.

Got confirmation and it said delivery 19th, still ok.

Now they say they will deliver on the 23rd!

Too late, always had problems with Rich Tone, I should have learnt by now!

Last time they will fool me!

Thanks for the reply Andy, but you must have known about the bank holiday in advance? The only reason I bought from you instead of GAK was because you said you would deliver on the 19th, GAK said they couldn't (turned out you couldn't either). So you got my business under false pretences.

Terrible service, terrible communication. Way beyond the delivery date quoted as they haven't even dispatched it yet and that is going to be 7 days (despite paying £8 for a very small bit of wood).

Avoid at all costs, they are totally useless.

Refunds too slow.

Have bought many instruments from Thomann over the years. Had occasion to return one on 24th Oct. It's now the 8th of November and no refund. Will have to go through PayPal now.

I didn't realise until today that they hadn't refunded me and last night I had ordered a bass from them. I have cancelled that now, seeing as refunds are so slow.

In reply to Thomann: it is longer than 14 days, and 14 days is unacceptable anyway.

Poor customer service and response

Insisted that they had sent item even though the DPD tracking number showed it hadn't been sent and that they had mearly raised an order to send. They couldn't even be bothered to check the tracking details themselves in the so called 'customer services' dept.

They seemed to imply that as I hadn't paid extra for urgent shipping it was down to me, even though the item hadn't arrived (or even been shipped) by the delivery day they had told me to expect it. Ordered on the 17th, still not sent on the 21st.

Not worth dealing with, I won't again.

Sent faulty phone

Sent me a faulty phone. It can happen but the 9 day wait to replace it was not good customer service and highlights that it's better to deal with UK based companies. The wait is because you have to return it to an address in the UK and then wait for them to send it back to Dubai. Shame as I had bought 4 phones from them previously, you live and learn!
