The Go To Place For Reptile Food!
This was my go to place for live food when I had my bearded dragon. They were always a lot cheaper than the likes of Pets at Home and other stores, even with the delivery fee. You also got better quality bugs, and more bug for your buck. Having checked back, their prices are still looking just as great as they were a couple of years ago.
They also have subscription options for regular delivery of bugs, making life even easier and ensuring your reptile friends aren't going to go hungry.
Well Worth It!
I've been subscribed to the Humble Monthly bundle since January 2016 and every bundle I've received has been worth it. You often get one or two big games, and a variety of smaller, but generally highly rated games. For less than £10, it's an absolute bargain!
I've bought a whole variety of other bundles, mainly games, but I've also grabbed many of the ebook bundles and a couple of software bundles, too. They have a separate store with regular sales and discounts on individual games, and often give away free copies of games for simply signing up to their newsletter.
In the 3+ years I've been using Humble, I've only ever had one slight problem. That was a key from a bundle being out of stock when I tried claiming it, however they had it restocked and available the following day which was much quicker than I was anticipating.
Free games, cheap prices, reliable service, and money going to a whole variety of charities makes Humble Bundle one of my most trusted sites for buying games and bundles from.
Room For Improvement
I hope I can give more stars in the future, but at the moment there's plenty to improve on.
I love the mystery behind the loot boxes, and the variety of options for boxes is great. I've been getting the Loot Gaming, Fallout, and Wear for the past year, and generally enjoy seeing what I've got each time.
The first thing I would say, is it's only worth subscribing when there's a decent discount, but there are often different sales and discount codes available.
Second is, if you like getting deliveries on time, this is not for you. My deliveries are always late, and I don't just mean a day or two either. It's pretty crazy at times. The tracking system doesn't help much either, as it stops tracking when it the item reaches the UK. From there on, you're in the dark.
That said, although the deliveries are always late, I have always received them.
Occasionally the clothing is of a different size than what I'm supposed to get, too. Where this doesn't bother me too much, I imagine it would others.
I had an issue where they sent out a crate to my old address after I had updated my address a couple of weeks prior to it being sent out. Customer support, however, were very helpful and, although it took a while, shipped out another crate to my new address.
I like what Loot Crate have to offer, and the whole concept behind it all, but they are lacking in certain areas.
Everything You'd Expect, and More!
My girlfriend and I did a Lean Six Sigma course through Sherwood Knowledge at the beginning of last year. In comparison to other providers of the same course, it was much cheaper (there was an offer at the time).
The location was decent, food and refreshments provided, and the course content and delivery was fantastic. A couple of days after the course finished we were emailed our certificates and the course material.
The staff there were very friendly and helpful, and the course leader clearly knew what he was talking about. We learned a lot, but we had a laugh at the same time.
It was everything you'd expect from a course, and more.
Cheap, Reliable, and a Helpful Delivery Team
I ordered a large wardrobe from their site at the end of August last year. It was a lot cheaper than similar wardrobes from other sites and stores.
It arrived on time, and even though the delivery stated curbside, the guys delivering it were kind enough to help bring everything up to my 6th floor apartment without me even having to ask. The parts were pretty heavy, so I was glad they were good enough to help.
Everything that was supposed to be included was included, and the instructions for assembly were spot on. My girlfriend and I put it together quicker than the instructions said it should take, so we were happy.
Several months later, it's still going strong.
Great experience from start to finish.
Thank you for leaving this feedback,
We are so pleased to hear about the experience you had with us and for the good gesture of the driver. We look forward to you shopping with us again in the future.
Kind regards,
Thomas : )
Not Cool, Arriva. Not Cool.
I've used Arriva bus services in Manchester twice. The first time was fine. We got on, bought our returns, and travelled to and from locations fine.
The second time, however, took away any positivity from the first experience.
We got on at, and were going to the same stops as the week previous, only to be told they don't do returns to that location. After a little debate about buying the same tickets the week before, I asked to buy two singles, and we'd then buy two more on the way back.
The driver then attempted to sell us the Day Saver tickets, even though these would have been more expensive than the singles there and back. After I brought this to his attention he tried defending it and stating that it works out cheaper, even though it didn't. He seemed set on trying to get as much money out of use as possible. Not something you expect on a bus ride.
The driver was pretty forceful, and someone with a little less awareness of pricing and less confidence may have felt pressured into buying the more expensive tickets.
Not cool.
So Far, So Good :)
I'm yet to buy anything from Voidu, but I did win a competition they sponsored on GTribe for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. While I had some difficulties claiming the prize initially, Voidu and GTribe worked hard to get the issue resolved and it wasn't long before I received the game.
Of course, since then I've been checking back every now and the. They often have very nice prices on games, and students are able to get even more of a discount with Student Beans.
As soon as I'm done with Resident Evil 2, I'm sure I'll be heading back to them to buy my next game of focus.
The fact they're a GTribe sponsor makes me want to use them even more!
One of the Good Ones
I've used Kinguin many times and I've never had any issues with the keys provided, but their library page and the way they displayed the keys made it awkward to activate them as some were literally screenshots of keys. They have since improved the inventory page which is a huge improvemen and makes it much more user friendly and efficient.
They often have decent sales and discounts on games for different platforms, and software. Delivery of keys has always been quick, never having to wait more than a couple of minutes.
Left Feeling Robbed.
I have used G2A once last year, and that was more than enough for me.
After purchasing a game, I tried activating the key on Steam only to find it was a duplicate key. I had to put my case forward to get a refund. This took over a week to resolve. Thankfully I did get a refund to some degree, however it was not a refund of the full amount I spent. I payed 31.59 EUR and received a refund of 26.69 EUR.
This is one of those times where the first impression was also the last impression.
Sorry to hear about your case and the fact that you received a slammer refund than expected. Please keep in mind that your order included the Shield premium service, which included a number of perks for your order. The refund in question concerned the game key that didn't work, and that price was refunded in full.

Absolutely amazing company with very friendly and helpful customer support.
These guys (and girls) do everything right. They get their game keys straight from the publishers, so you don't have to worry about where the keys are coming from. Their discounts on games are often the best you'll find, with a VIP system for extra discounts if you've purchased from them a few times. They've also been branching out and have been selling bundles.
They host regular giveaways through their Blogs and reward the community for contributing in their forums and for writing game reviews on their site.
The member profile and messaging areas are also something I particularly like, and keep seeing improvements to.
They always seem strive to do what's best and what's right by the customer. Something rarely seen any more.
If their awesome prices don't keep you coming back, their community focus should!
Terrible First / Last Impression
It's a shame you can't give less than one star.
I went in to the Manchester Market Street branch on a Saturday to enquire about opening an account with Barclays. I was told the waiting list for appointments was over three weeks long, however, I could come in first thing in the morning and be seen that morning. All I had to do was bring proof of ID and Address.
Having consulted their website and finding what documents they accepted, I went in the following day ready for them opening (yes, this particular branch opens on a Sunday). Upon speaking to the Barclays employee at the desk he asked for a reference number from an online application, as apparently that's required for the drop-in mornings. Something the employee from the day before never cared to mention.
Upon moving past that, my documents were checked, only to be told both forms of ID were not acceptable. My driving licence had a family member's address (my weekend and leave address) as I'm in the military and it saves me constantly applying for new cards with updated details. But I figured fair enough, I still have my UK Armed Forces ID card on me which the Barclays website claims to accept as proof of ID. They did not.
So the two forms of ID were rejected, and he didn't even bother to check the two different forms of proof of address.
Their complaints chat system is terrible and you just end up with some guy constantly apologising, but as the chat isn't secure, they don't ask for details (not even branch), so nothing can actually come of the complaint, and nothing can be put in place to prevent it happening again. Such as training employees to know what forms of ID are acceptable, or updating the website if certain forms of ID are no longer accepted.
Safe to say I'm not impressed with the wasted time and how uninformative the staff were and won't be attempting to open an account with them again.

I've been using Fanatical, formerly Bundle Stars, for more than 2 years and have never been disappointed. They have great prices and regular discounts on games and game bundles.
Their recent addition of the Fanatical Assistant browser extension keeps me up to date with game prices when I'm searching for games. Love it!
