So much for durable and flexible

I used sugru to repair some shoes that had split on the soles and to replace how badly worn down the heel on them was. Made sure to lightly sandpaper the surface to key it, pressed the edges down to ensure it stuck and left it for a week before i dared touch it again - two weeks later both of the heel fixes have fallen off and the split has split through the sugru.

Yes it was super easy to use and yes the shoes felt fine whn I worse them. But it didn't last and now I have a few packs left that I don't really want to use, so I've wasted my money.

Sugru fixes to the upper and outer areas of shoes such as patching tears in fabric, or sealing small cracks work very well, but our experience with Sugru fixes to the soles of shoes are very much a mixed bag – the constant impact and abrasion often means these fixes are just not durable enough. I'm sorry if this comes as disappointing news!
