HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
I wouldn't bother to give these people a one star review as this experience was so bad, I still cannot still believe it.
I made reservations for a week, picking up a car from the Fort Lauderdale 'Easirent' office at the airport.
HOLY SMOKES! What a complete disaster.
The office was full of people waiting, it was at least 80 degrees with no air flow. That really works during a pandemic. I waited in a hot line watching this ill prepared 2 employees being ineffective in getting people taken care of.
An hour later, it was my turn. Sweating, I told the rude woman my name. She promptly told me there was no car for me and she didn't know if there ever would be. EXCUSE ME, WHAT? Yep, no car. Not even an 'I'm sorry'. Not even a 'let's put you into something else' Just a "no car for you-BYE!"
She cancelled my reservation and called "NEXT"!
I had no way to leave....so THANKFULLY I had a friend in FT. Lauderdale who was kind enough to pick me up.
From there, I called the rentalcars.com contact number LITERALLY 29 TIMES. Either the call would fail, or I would get put on hold for eternity.
I finally got ahold of someone on line, was assured a credit, and that was 2 weeks ago with no resolve.
This company is A JOKE. DO NOT BOTHER. I cannot even wrap my head around how this kind of behavior wouldn't land them into serious bankruptcy.
YOU PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES partnering with such a lame company like EASIRENT that have nothing but horrible reviews. You send unsuspecting customers to a place where they CARE NOT about the experience and actually hate people walking through the door.
RENTALCARS.COM have NO FOLLOW THROUGH AND CARE NOTHING about the customer experience. YOU PEOPLE SUCK AND HOPE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS.
JUST DON'T DO IT!
I wouldn't give this piece of S---T company one star but I didn't have that option. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this joke of a company. These people couldn't rent a car if your life depended on it. After waiting in a very long, sweaty line with no air flow-one hour standing watching what seemed to be a circus. Just the kind of feeling you wish for when trying to rent a car. After standing there for an hour, I walk to the front counter just to be told the car I reserved wasn't on the lot and they didn't know when it would be. Sorry for you! Guess you aren't getting a car today. NO trying to suggest another car...perhaps upgrading me since YOU PEOPLE can't figure out how to care for a customer. Instead, the employee told me it was 'like this' all over Florida and I need to just figure something else out.
WHAT? Ok....well....looking at the slew of one star reviews you really do not give a damn about how upset people are after having this experience.
Do the rental car business a favor and GO OUT OF BUSINESS!
