Very rare i put a 1 star
..... family has used admiral for years.
Im not happy.

You know when you change ur date of payment... and you sign the contract that says " i agree to such and such date for the payment to come out"
Then that contract means you take it out on that date. Not several days before, not 10 days after... not 7 days... not 5.. coz it keeps changing..
On the day. Thats what we agreed.

Im literally on the verg of leaving because of this.

By the way.... i see ur good reviews and they are all very suspiciously similar.. like a robot wrote them.

My claim has now been ongoing since the…

My claim has now been ongoing since the 2nd March. Someone did contact me following my last review and asked for a further two documents. Given the lady had spent hours going through my claim, I can't quite believe it's been another 12 working days since I submitted the final two documents and I've still heard nothing back. I'm around £3300 short and at this point don't understand the point of travel insurance, especially platinum cover with Admiral.

Need to fix their technology. stem on the website froze…

The payment system on the website froze in mid transaction. I had to telephone to complete the transaction, thereby losing my cashback payment.

I explored the multi car policy option, but the quote for the second vehicle was more than twice the current premium. Hardly an attractive proposition.

The website states that your insurance documents will be available online straightaway, but mine were not. Even the following day the screen displayed the same message, that there 'was a problem producing the documents'. Eventually I telephoned again and a helpful member of staff emailed them to me.

Overall a very poor performance from a leading company in the sector.

Outstanding customer service …

I was dealing with a gentleman called Paul, I had been involved in a accident with one of your customers, however as soon as I spoke to your service team they were far friendlier and helpful than the current insurance company I was with (lv) - As my car was a total write off, I choose to insure my new car with you, purely down to the care I had received- Paul couldn’t of been more helpful even calling me back on a few occasions (exactly when he said he would!!) to continue with my policy.
All round excellent customer service, really pleased I’m now a customer of your too!! 😊

A very good multicar deal

It was quite expensive to insure my car with Admiral but when I decided to add another car, it made it a good deal. The agents even helped me reduce the average cost per vehicle
