HORRIBLE!!!!

HORRIBLE!!!!
Beware of this lousy company.
They misrepresent their products online…
Then refuse to provide help or shipping labels for returns of misrepresented products.
Worst possible customer service.
NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Poor quality; Customer service does not stand behind product

I was not impressed with my AG Jeans from the very beginning. They stretch out more than other brands meaning it was hard to rewear them between washes. After 13 months, and probably only wearing my jeans around 20 times, I got a large hole in the back pocket seam making them unwearable. When I reached out to customer service they said they only stand by their products for after 8 months of purchase and they do "not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, or the natural breakdown of materials over an extended period." I have only ever washed these jeans on delicate cycle and always air dry them. I have Banana Republic jeans that are 12 years old with no holes in them, much better quality, and a fraction of the price. I definitely expected better for a premium price point jean. I was only offered a lousy 20% towards a new pair, but I will not be making any further purchases.

Don’t waste your money

Bought a pair of AG jeans going by there size chart. When they arrived they were at least 3 sizes too big . They sent me the return label however one week after posting they returned back to me . I sent them photo of the returned parcel and jeans and they then informed me I had to go to a fedx location to return them which 2 hrs drive away from me . Then they tried to tell me the jeans in the photo were not the ones they sent me ( I don’t own any other AG jeans) Now they are not responding to my emails .
Don’t let this company scam you like they did me

Jeans stretch out very easily

I have been buying AG now for a number of years however I won't be buying anymore moving forward. Prior to buying AG, I had never spent more than $100 on jeans. At the time, I wanted to try a premium brand thinking that they would last longer than the less expensive options. Unfortunately this is not how things played out. 7 of the 8 pairs have required multiple trips to the tailor just to keep them somewhat wearable. Given the massive sum of money that I paid for these I have insisted on trying to keep them viable to no avail. Only one pair have not required tailoring. All of the others have stretched out like there is no tomorrow. This, despite never putting them in the dryer or getting them dry cleaned. All fit awesome for the first couple of months but after that they started stretching in the legs making them longer, and the waist just kept getting larger and larger and larger. Not only that, but they also stretch out in the fanny as well making them look just downright sloppy. These issues have required multiple trips to the tailor in some cases to the tune of hundreds of additional dollars. The slim fit Marshall pants are now a pair of baggy parachute pants that are no longer wearable. The $80 pair of jeans that I bought from Banna Republic have held up significantly better. I have now been slowly but surely replacing them with 34 Heritage pants which have been awesome and better yet, have not required any tailoring. The vast majority of AG jeans and pants are the Everret fit now and I have no idea why. It is the worst of all the fits. Way to long and way too much loose fabric in the fanny. I understand, the company is owned now by a financial company so money is the focus not quality. It is clear that attention to quality is not a focus so as a result, I have purchased my last ever pair of Ag jean

Just be careful of their customers…

Just be careful of their customers service. I returned one pair and saw it’s been two weeks since I sent it and one week since they received it. I email them looking for an update and the email comes back with an error multiple times.
Once I initiated a chargeback for it since it was already sent off, they finally replied.
No apologies or anything owning up to their email. Instead I get back and forth with what looks like a poorly constructed “inspect element” photoshopped cropped out to display how they reportedly had an issue replying to me as well.

Today AG Jeans lost a very loyal…

Today AG Jeans lost a very loyal customer. I bought 3 pairs about 8 months ago which I rotated on a regular basis and wore moderately frequently. One pair developed a linear relatively clean tear in the right back pocket with the surrounding fabric pristine. The fabric underneath was also pristine. I went in expecting to get a new replacement pair for what most likely was a defect in the fabric making it prone to a tear. Instead I got an offer to purchase a new pair at 30% off. To me that is very poor customer service and very shortsighted. They lost a very good customer. In the future I will buy as good if not better jeans at stores like Nordstrom where you pay for what you get.

Ag jeans sizes incorrect i.e 33 is not 33

I have bought Ag jeans , this is second jeans i bought and i had issues with jeans i bought before . i bought jeans in size 33 as 34 was bit big on me . But i am really dissapoint with the jeans that size 33 is no different from size 32 cause the measurements they have given on their website before buying are same in size 33 and 32 .
If both size 32 & 33 are same how come sumone will choose exact size . Due to this many of us have got wrong size .
As given in their website measurement for size 32 are :
Front rise 10 1/2
Knee opening 16 1/2
Leg opening 18 1/2.
These are same with size 33 too , or is it that jeans i bought wrong tag of size 33 instead of 32 .
i have written to ag jeans with pictures but there was no response or reply . cause they knew it .

I have bought clint 10 year Raymond Boot Cut Jeans from australia in size 34 . As i bought Ag Jeanz first time and size 34 was a size bigger for me .As Jeans dont have universal same size .
But i really like the jeans style and fabric . So instead of returning or exchange . I thought of buying another Size 33 jeans , so that i all know my actual AG Jeans Size, as i really like the jean i thought i might be wearing AG jeans only now for ever .
i asked the customer care as when i bought the jeans around new year there was discount on them but now there is no deal and as i wanna buy in size 33 can they help me with sum offer.
I got an email with link to choose jeans and send us jean tag number and we will provide a courtesy discount as i am buying another pair to correct my size . i Sent them the Tag number from link , but i got an email that sorry there is some confusion, u buy the jeans at full price and we will refund you n match the price with u got the jeans .
That was really confusing as i wrote back that what is difference in giving offer when buying and in refund . As i wanna know what is difference in discount on buying with refund . Cause its either u give or either not instead.
It create doubt and trust issue as will they give refund once i buy the jeans .
Really strange

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’d like to clarify that your case is still actively being reviewed and worked on by our customer care team.

Because your original purchase was made with an international promotion, our system isn’t able to apply the same discount directly at checkout for a new international order due to currency and conversion limitations.

For that reason, we offered an alternative solution: placing the order at the listed price and then issuing a refund for the price difference afterward to match what you originally paid.

We truly want to make sure you receive the correct size at the same promotional price and that you feel confident shopping with us. Our team is still actively working with you on this and would be happy to walk you through the process again step by step.

Please continue the conversation through the same email thread so we can make this right for you.

Best Customer Service I have ever experienced!!

If there was a way to give more than 5 stars I would.

I have worked more than 30 years in the sales / hospitality world and have never experienced better, faster and more genuine customer service than I have with AG. They are more than a retailer; they genuinely care about their customers... This level of service is what great brands are built on and they have gotten a loyal, lifetime customer with one simple transaction.

I returned one of two pairs of AG jeans…

I returned one of two pairs of AG jeans because it didn’t fit. The return process felt intentionally difficult, and it took three weeks to process. When the refund finally came through, AG credited me for the cheaper pair, even though their own return note clearly showed I sent back the more expensive jeans.

I emailed customer service and forwarded their own documentation proving the mistake. They ignored it, implied the error was mine, and refused to correct it.

For a “premium” brand, this is unacceptable. I told them to keep the money. They’ve lost a customer, and I’ll make sure others know why.

Hi Lance,

After reviewing your case we found that a different item was returned instead of the item you listed in the return request. All returns are processed for the items that are received not the items that are listed as intended to be returned. If you wish to return the higher priced item we will be happy to provide an additional return label for you to return the item.

Bought multiple sweatshirts

Bought multiple sweatshirts, the one I really wanted was not in the shipment. CS claims they have video of it being packed for shipment. Spoke with two people only to be told to go “kick rocks”. To top it all off Discover card said they can’t deny a partial charge.
I’ll go elsewhere to buy my mid quality gear from now on.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. Prompt attention to email even on Friday after Thanksgiving! Requested a price adjustment via email with order #, received a same day response reminding me that adjustment would make product final sale (which is appreciated that it wasn’t assumed I would know) and when I answered in the affirmative the refund was issued same day.

High product Quality, high customer experience quality

The quality of products needs no introduction, shipping is super fast, and when I had once a problem with one item shipped, customer support was truly supportive, gave me options and stuck to it until it was solved. It's always when things don't work as they should that people reveal themselves. They had my back. Highly recommended.

I had some quality issues with 2 pairs of pants. AG CS was on top of it and resolved the issues within 24 hours. That is the standard all companies should be held to. They kept a customer for a long time because of the way they handled the situation.
