The team was amazing! They arrived on time and started the packaging without stressing me about anything. Infact they were doing it at supersonic speed. And were meticulous and very organized in the same. The next day they arrived half an hour early to the specified time and did the loading and unloading to my new house without any hiccups.

Tony Vullo came out personally to do the quote, and Ewa and Callie Collins kept us well informed by email and phone. Everyone was helpful, and if they weren’t available, they always called back.

The move was managed over two days. Michael led the team, along with Raheel and several others, all of whom worked hard and did their part. They arrived on time in a clearly marked company truck, with a second truck arriving in the afternoon to load items from the garage. On the second day, they collected the remaining boxes and a few last items before driving everything down to Dorset.

Overall, a smooth, well-organised move from start to finish. Highly recommended.

It’s very expensive and the expectation to receive a superior service that justify the price was not met.

The crew were hard working and efficient, but lacking from clear instructions/directions from the head office.

Head office indicated that the return from storage and assembling of furniture would require one working day. In actual fact, it required three full working days (plus a couple of additional hours on the fourth day) due to inaccurate planning:

• The boxes returned from storage took all the space available in the flat and the handymen didn’t have enough space to assemble the furniture. Some of the boxes had to be put back on the van and returned to storage to enable the handymen finish assembling the furniture.

• Assembling the furniture turned out to be a much longer and more difficult task, because a few components had been packed with other items and not clearly labelled. As a result, all the boxes had to be opened to find all the components and complete the assembling of the furniture.

Quick and clear communication throughout the process of moving and storage. Very fast and efficient packing, with items stored carefully. They took away a lot of the stress of moving.

This isn’t something you’d ordinarily think of saying about a removal experience, but these guys were absolutely brilliant and borderline super-human! I had two desks, a ludicrously heavy sculpture/coffee table, numerous boxes and storage crates and an entire garden set consisting of a large table, 6 chairs and a gigantic parasol with a sand-filled base that weighed a ton. The guys arrived at my top floor flat at 9am. At 10:40am I signed the document to say everything was unmarked and safely in the new address. That’s not a typo - it took them 1 hour and 40 minutes. Sure, the two addresses were only a 5 minutes drive from each other, but regardless, that’s got to be some sort of record and if it’s not, it should be. Highly recommend this team, I’ll most certainly be using them again. Top marks. Ten out of ten. Guinness Book of Records.

competitive, thorough and quick - very happy with the move

Michael and his team did a fast and efficient job moving me the last two days, despite blistering sunshine and some tight corners. They communicated brilliantly and were clear but friendly with boundaries such as disconnecting water appliances and fixing wardrobes to walls. Moving house is incredibly stressful but they took away as much as they reasonably could.

Fantastic efficient service. The lads worked through the hottest day of the year without batting an eyelid. Very quick, friendly and kind to the removed person! Terrific team - I'm very happy.

Alexanders Removals were brilliant. Every step of the way. First they were the most competitive prce yet, right from the off, the most thorough. An early morning video call where I could 'show' them the job, not just explain. Then every question answered and anticipated. And incredibly comprehensive quote.
Then the actual removals, storage and return of everything. Perfect. The crews were incredibly polite and helpful all the way. Went out of their way to be helpful and suggest solutions. Quick too. They sent plenty of people to do what looked like really hard work. Then I over extended my storage time and throughout, the office staff - Dimitri, Alexander, Justyna were brillaint. Understanding, helpful, just great.
My goods were all returned in perfect condition. Everythinng rann like clockwork. Every step was explained and re-explained when I was too thick to understand.
I would recommend Alexanders to anyone. It's a bit stressful doing a move and having a company where the mails, the phone calls, the meetings and the removals themselves, the crews, are all so on top of their game really helped relieve some stress. Well done Alexanders!

Excellent, professional and punctual service. Justyna was my move manager, who arranged everything ahead of time including a video survey to determine the move strategy. The three packers planned out how to organize themselves so that we were packed from a 3 bed 2 bath apartment in less than 2 hours, even with several wine glasses, delicate crockery and fragile souvenirs and paintings. When we arrived at the destination, realizing that the designated parking was too far away, the movers quickly adapted, shifting to the loading dock to get me moved into the new place by lunchtime! They were extremely courteous, and knew what to pack and what not to pack, even finding a set of keys I'd lost a year ago! I don't plan to move again, but if I do, I'll definitely go back to Alexanders.

Considerate, flexible and conscientious. We had a fairly complex move, with multiple locations and waste disposal involved.
We evaluated 5 different companies and are confident we made the right choice - Alexanders were a pleasure to work with from first contact to completion!
