Absolutely unacceptable

Absolutely useless and seen to be answerable to on one at all, arrogance beyond belief, NO investment whatsoever to solve transmitter range problems,NO boosters for areas of poor range reception. I have to retune my tv EVERY day with varying results, usually doing it 5 times adjusting the cable run to various position's to achieve the best (still pathetic) results Thought this was the 21st century not 19th!!! (Poscode NN12)
Also something happens on a Friday evening that seems to change the reception, lasts until Monday when it returns to what passes as normal for Arqiva
For Arqiva's information I'd look at the effect the Black Cat RBT and A428 construction works may be having on Sandy Heath

Absolute disaster of a company

Absolute disaster of a company, they provide the smart meter signals in the north of England and it simply doesn’t work. My energy company were trying to liaise with them and they blamed the non functioning smart meter on the incoming supply cable!!!

Where has the Bilsdale project gone?

Where has the Bilsdale project gone?
Still can't receive FM radio in either of my cars. ITV & DAB is currently unavailable. So many house aerials have been moved temporarily and not redirected. Classic Half job. Would help if local news (who rely on Bilsdale transmitter as unavailable on Internet) kept their viewers informed.

Still no tv signal after 9 months!

Following the fire at the Bilsdale transmitter in August last year, I am still without a signal for tv reception.
I have virgin media on my main tv, however my family are unable to watch tv anywhere else in the house.
I have tried to contact Arqiva but due to having virgin on 1 tv, they are completely unwilling to help.
The old tv transmitter had worked faultlessly since the 1960s but even with today’s technology Arqiva can’t provide a reliable signal

A joke of a company

The receptionist was rude and unprofessional, with awful customer service skills. She hung up on me and blocked my number for no good reason. AND their response to the lack of freeview transmission is useless.

With Arqiva, there is no "U"

The questions remain: what came first, the residents or the mast, and, (more importantly) what should.

My experience of Arqiva is one of communicative response, up to a point, before uncomfortable questions of them are asked.

As referred to in other reviews, there have been radioactive-type effects (alongside electro-static) in the area and especially around the district in which I reside, the nearer one is to the cell-tower - the subject of conversation taken up with Arqiva in the form of an allegation - then the more head-achey the effects. Life must be burdensome living at the bottom of the hill directly underneath the mast.

Whether or not this has now been sorted out, with most of the effects now seemingly coming from neighbouring houses, only, trying to get the company to acknowledge that there could be a fault proved to be a non-starter.

I was given what must have been a scripted excuse by someone who had evidently had this same conversation with many people over time (despite my having been told the opposite). Ringing back to argue, there existed no means of communication with this particular person from a certain point.

Emails were also sent, and eventually I ended up speaking with other people who worked for the company and who did not provide any reasonable excuse for dismissal of the claim.

The most recent contact I received (I had sent messages after their last response) was by a manager who stated that I could split the costs for testing on the tower if it were that I had concerns. I mentioned that I could run tests via mobile-phone applications, to which he responded that Arqiva would not accept results from such low-grade equipment.

There had apparently been radiation-leaks from the tower in past years but had been covered up - this information not shared by Arqiva. Whether the person who told me this, meant radiation as in 'thermal', or radiation that organisations such as the World Health Organisation play down as less imminently dangerous, is not clear - the organisation changing their ideas every so often on that particular subject, whilst certainly not taking everything into account.

Arqiva has displayed an irresponsible attitude. Not much more to say about them except that they should be compensating people who were affected by the mast to whatever degree the residents were hurt, and even if the effects only made life uncomfortable for a period of time, with people afflicted with no long-term illness, the company is still liable for their part in any aggravation caused.

I worked in the NOC department at Emley. Bullying is strife at Arqiva. I would not recommend any person ever working for this company as management are all bullies and do not care about staff who go above and beyond. I have no idea how this company is getting away with all the bullying, harassement and blackmailing staff yet theyre working closely with governmental projects.....

A Toxic company

A Toxic company.
I suffered a nervous breakdown after being bullied by senior managers of this company's public safety division to the point of suicide.
The CEO lied and colluded with the HR Director to cover it up. The HR director ignored ALL evidence presented to him and refused to aknowledge daily emails asking what further evidence was required. They told me they would look favourably on a personal injury claim if I left. They didnt and having run out of money to pursue a claim it never went to court. This company left me so broken i have not been able to work since. Terrible company with no moral compass
