Please Please be careful shopping in asda . Very big issues cheating people's with the offers . Check price when you pay on till or scanning item today 5th time happens with me . People only check price and buy but doesn't check display or recipe. Went to Asda to Design a Cake for our daughters birthday. Day 1
A lovely gentleman came to assist us as our phone could not connect to the machine. Unfortunately he tried but wasnt able to help as we didnt have an I phone!! We thanked him for his kindness and returned again to now scan a picture for our cake. DAY 2
Found this choice easy to do. Quite happy headed to the bakery to get the cake.
NO ONE THERE!!! We hung about for 15 mins and a lovely helpful man Andy came to ask if we needed anything? He walked around the store twice. Put out a call for someone to come to the bakery nothing!! Another lady working the floor set of to find help NOTHING!!
So i went to complain! I was shown to a young lady manager who informed me bakery go home at 1pm. She told me other staff could print the cake.. i asked where i could find there people? She said she didnt know!!
So i asked why they offer this cake printing service if bakery went home at 1pm. She again told me there were people to print the cake but she didnt know whwre they where and carried on going for her lunch!!. So i returned to the bakery where the lovely Andy had located a nice lady who printed the cake.So if u need help at ASDA contact the really lovely Andy. He knows where to find the staff . Unlike the manager. I have been an everyday asda shopper for 30 years bought my daughters baby clothes in 1996 a loyal shopper and i felt let down by the management today as i struggled to get my daughters birthday cake.But definately not the lovely staff. Thank you staff.

We went ASDA cafe in Kettering with…

We went ASDA cafe in Kettering with wife for lunch on 28th May 2026 for lunch at 12.53pm. There's a huge triangle paperboard in the cafe showing 2 main meals and 2 teas £14 after 12pm. In the menu display board in main meals section the top one is Brunch £7.47 and tea costs £1.97. We ordered 2 Brunch and 2 teas and they charged £18.88. After eating our lunch we asked one of the staff showing the triangle paperboard that 2 main meals and 2 teas only £14 offers then why charged £18.88. That staff Said this and that Brunch is not a main meal like some nonsense. But Brunch is the top in the main meal menu list. Is this a scam or Brunch is not a main meal. We're totally confused.
The other worst problem is the dining table are filthy and dirty and plates with food waste over the tables. Nobody interested in cleaning the tables. We put the dirty plates to another table and cleaned the table ourselves to eat our lunch.
The receipt also given by ASDA cafe Kettering is some Birmingham company. So we think the cafe is running by some private company so for making profit some scam will happen?. We don't sure of that. Anyway we are not interested in going there.

Outstanding Customer Service at Paignton Branch

I was shopping at the Asda store in Paignton, South Devon a few weeks ago and I really wanted to compliment a member of staff that went above and beyond for me. I was looking for some bird food, and I must have looked lost, as Emily came over and asked what I was looking for. I explained, and she went to look at the stock levels (as there weren't any obvious on the shelf) on her handheld device but we both started to realise that something was wrong with the in-store internet. I told her not to worry, and went off to continue shopping. Emily came to find me and had managed to physically go and look in the back for what I had been looking for. Fantastic! As I went about my shopping, I noticed that she was helping other customers who were struggling with the in-store internet failure. I wish I had gotten her last name, but when I mentioned Emily to other staff members, it appeared that she was known for her excellent customer service. Thank you, Emily!

Arrange a Click and Collect from this store on Wed,27 May 2026 between 01;00 pm and 01;30 pm .
I got to the pick up point at 12;55 it took them 40 min to attend that was after several phone calls to customer service . A guy turned up the first thing he said was it wasn't his fault got the order out of the kiosk but only half the order he asked me if i wouldn't mind driving to the store with him to get the balance of the order i said no as there would be no where to park . He eventually got back with the balance of my order mixed in with anther customers I eventually sorted my order out and set off for home . When I got home I thought I had lost half my order because I had thrown groceries everywhere to get away as quickly as possible, the collection took 1 hour and 20 minutes I would have been better going in the store and picking the goods myself. Avoid this store at all cost .

I recently had a delivery and the service from the driver was terrible. Calling a 46 year old man a girl was ridiculous. You can see who you're delivering to. Just call me my name, not expecting sir or anything. Need to be retrained on how to treat customers. I sent an email to the complaints department, but they weren't interested. I gave them a week to reply. I've only just started using Asda, so I can easily switch to another supermarket.

Shockingly poor customer service.


On Thursday 21st May 2026, I went to the Forfar Asda Store just after 6pm to return two items to Amazon.

I’m assuming this is a new service Asda is providing as the woman on the customer service desk berated me in a very condescending way saying I had not secured the cardboard envelope I was carrying the two items in. I explained that the instructions from Amazon are quite clear that the items need only to be in the manufacturer packaging and not the box or envelope the items arrived in. She ignored this and proceeded to angrily stick bits of sellotape all over the cardboard envelope. I said once again that Amazon had said this was not necessary and all she said was that her supervisor had said the opposite.

I’m in my 60s now and do not expect to be spoken to as if I were six!

I understand that if this is a new service there will be teething problems, but this does not excuse the way I was spoken too. It only served to remind why I haven’t shopped at Asda for many years. Have complained to Asda customer service via email and have not even had a confirmation email in return.

Zero stars review regarding staff in India and Philippines the call centre that's a 3rd party company. Refused to deal with complaints. When I called up was a bad as Morrisons regarding not answer the phone.

The staff don't deal with the customer service email address was told previously that my complaint would be dealt with. It wasn't.

Ist call the person didn't answer
2nd call the person I could hear scrambled to the phone
3rd call a female very noisy in the background.

Totally unprofessional. Asda should bring the call centre back to the UK

I truly cannot believe how unprofessional and incompetent ASDA online shopping is ! I paid £4.50 for my delivery slot yesterday 26/5/26 and waited in all day for it to arrive I tried to contact them but could not get through, after waiting over 7 hours I finally got through to a lady in a different country .I told her I could not believe in this day and age no one had bothered to contact me to say my order was not coming! It is absolutely disgusting and would you believe this morning I have just received an email to say my order was delivered yesterday!!!t They are completely inadequate and have not got a clue !!! If you value your sanity, keep clear of ASDA! I will NEVER shop with them again .

Mixed Experience

I disliked being told by a member of staff at the bakery section that a celebration cake was discontinued. I wasn't certain so double checked with another member of staff by the name of Bret, at Asda Newcraighall, Edinburgh who went over and beyond in assisting me to find out if the cake was still available, which to my delight, it was! As it wasn't available in that particular store, he took me to Customer Services axking Rebecca (a mention to Rebecca too, who was also very helpful in the process) to check other store's availability of item. If it hadn't been for Bret, I wouldn't have got my birthday cake!

I don’t think I can go Asda ever again…

I don’t think I can go Asda ever again which is such a shame considering it’s opposite from where I live and convenient. Every time I get a food delivery from ASDA it’s more and more depressing. The expiration dates are hopeless. The substitutes they give have no meaning to what you order, they hardly ever have the things you want in stock. It’s overpriced, today’s delivery (I paid £200) I got quite a lot of opened food which is now inedible and had to be thrown away and all the meat, bakery, even some cupboard food expires within a week which means majority of my food will now go to waste. Never ever shopping at Asdas again. Every order i get from them is a mess. Whoever packs them is useless.

I purchased compost from Asda bad idea

I purchased compost from Asda. This is not normally something I do but was short on time. Never again the quality was so bad but needed some that day and no where else open by the time I realised. I had to mix it with other stuff out of the garden. I returned the other 2 as there was no way it was going in the main garden.
I remembered buying it about 4 years ago and wondered why I stopped. I then remembered it is nothing like any compost I have seen and really dont see how it can be called that. Never again

Took out a loan 3+months ago with the promise of £30 in my Asda rewards pot. Phoned 7 times fobbed off each time eg 14 days cooling off period 60 days waiting time plus the 14 so 74 days when I went to school 91 days and counting. I am sure this is happening widescale.if I could give Asda no * I certainly would of. Terrible service
