We are from Copenhagen Denmark and visited Piemonte Region i aug/sep 2026. We rented a car with Ecovia/Autovia through Discovercars.com. Everything seemed to work fine and we had no issues with the car. We were happy with the rental until return. When we returned the car at 18:30, unfortunately no one was there to take it in even though it stated they close at 19:00. So we had to drop the keys in the key box and trust they did a proper return inspection the following day without us being present. Unfortunately this is where it all went down wrong. Not only did they try to charge us for existing damage, but they also failed to list damage we had pointed out on pick up of the car - who knows if they will try to make subsequent customers responsible for this damage? I have uploaded pictures of the alleged new damage compared to video footage of the car on pick up. Fortunately I made a comprehensive video on pick up, otherwise I would be stuck with a bill for some scratches on one of the wheel rims. I have contacted customer care many days ago, but they still haven't replied me and they have tried charging me money on my credit card. I have spent hours and hours having to go through video, writing mails to customer care, contacting my credit card company to make them hold the amount they are trying to withdraw and uploading all sorts of evidence. If you are looking for a good car rental company, then stay completely away from this one. They try to scam you and you will regret it

Martin was very honest and helpful, something very rare in car rental companies staff, this make me feel confident to use this service because no hidden fees neither fine print on the contract to be aware of. Also the car was in perfect condition.

I had a fantastic experience with this car rental company! The team is professional and efficient. The contract preparation, including document verification (I chose the option to pay at the counter), and key handover took just 5 minutes. Everything was done quickly, clearly, and with a positive attitude, which really put me in a great mood!
