Avoid at all costs
Bought a 2016 Volkswagen Scirocco R from Avanti with 74000 miles in march of 2025, when I went to see the car it was the cleanest example of a Scirocco R i had been to see, but immediately there was an ABS light on and the infotainment system didn't work properly, after I inquired about it I was assured that everything would be sorted and ready to go upon my collection of the vehicle, when I picked up the vehicle a week later it had been mot'd (not sure if it was by them or a separate garage) and there was no faults shown, they also went on about their 100 point check they seemed so proud of, about 5 minutes after picking up the car and beginning to drive home the ABS light came back on, I then took it back and they wiped the codes and assured me all was fine, later on that same 3 hour car journey return home it reappeared. When I got back I contacted them for them to just tell me that the warranty company will have it all sorted if I get it in a garage, it ended up being a wheel bearing and an abs sensor but unfortunately that was only the beginning of my issues I had with this car. Over the next month's after buying it I discovered it had a buckled alloy that had been poorly repaired, the intake manifold, battery, fuel injectors, ignition coils and spark plugs that all needed replacing and that was only within the first few months of me owning it. The garage they sent me to for the intake manifold seemed like the cheapest dodgiest garage that they possibly could've found and it ended up needing a new gasket again a couple months after. Following that I had non stop issues pretty much every month following until recently when I sold the car after 10,000 miles of normal driving over the course of a year I found out that the cam chain was stretched to within an inch of its life. Warranty was of no use for most of my issues and they were difficult to work with, I would very much recommend steering clear of anything these people have to sell.
