This company is so easy to deal with. From the tools provided, the excellency of the agents. The communication, the follow up on members to insure that they are growing towards their goal. So it is a great company indeed.

We did a lot of research before changing mailler programs and the promise of Beehiiv has not been delivered. Two days into using it we had to upgrade to a much higher price point than we had before to be able to use it efficiently, and barely more than a month after the transition, while we're still fighting with it and finding it slower and more clumsy than it originally seemed, they're upping the price $30 a month (which is $50 in local currency). The only good thing is that the size of the email is much smaller which allows us to send richer emails.

Best newsletter ever, gives new users time to use it.

Built a site on the free plan in July 2026. Through September I added more than twenty guest authors with no warning, no limit prompt, nothing. The product let me do it because at the time the plan allowed it.

In early October beehiiv renamed and restructured its tiers — Launch/Scale/Max became Free/Lite/Pro — and the guest author allowance on the free plan dropped to one. I found out by trying to add someone and getting blocked. No email, no in-app notice I ever saw, no grace period.

The middle tier doesn’t fix it either: Lite is $49/month billed annually and still caps guest authors at three. Only Pro, at $95/month billed annually, restores what the free plan gave me in September.

The documentation is also still inconsistent — different pages list different limits, which made it take a while to even confirm what had happened and that I hadn’t done something wrong.

Repricing is normal. Shrinking a limit by 95% on accounts that have already built around it, with no notice reaching the customer, is how you lose people. One star.

I really enjoy the user interface for Beehiiv. I was on another platform before and it was really generic looking. I like that I can publish articles to a site or to our newsletter list together or separately. I'm also looking forward to using the ad network.

Beehiiv’s mobile (iPad and phone) capabilities are so poor, I would simply suggest that you look away if that’s your main device to write.

Their server is also very unstable. You often need to refresh the page because after copy pasting the page simply freezes for no reason.

This is one of the worst softwares I’ve used.

Great site started with no experience and they made it easy to learn everything. Have grown my niche newsletter to over 100 subscribers in 2 months. Really like the free product feature for lead magnets and the website builder is awesome.

love how easy it is to use with claude, analytics are great and they make it pretty smooth to use thus far. Free tier is pretty generous but I'm on the paid now and loving it!

Knowledgeable yet adapting to users The Webinar that Conor hosted was good for beginners (that would be me) then he raised the tutorial for the users with better knowledge of the platform building from other platforms they were linking.

I can only speak to the small organizations like us who just want to send out a monthly newsletter. I know they offer 100x that in other services, but beehiv is perfect for us as I'm not an IT type person and all the other platforms make you do that awful email protocol setup which I had no idea how to do. I also don't have a lot of patience with complex directions. I was thankful beehive offers a very quick and easy way to upload contacts, use a template and simply get a professional looking newsletter out without any hassle.

Second time using beehiiv and am loving it even more this time around. Easy to launch, navigation is great. Excited to grow to the point where I can monetize! 10/10 platform!

Beehiiv has been a very good platform for running Burnley Briefs. It’s straightforward to use, has strong newsletter and website tools, useful analytics, and makes managing subscribers and paid products much easier. There have been a few small frustrations along the way, but overall the platform has been reliable and has helped us grow. Very happy with the experience so far.

I'm a new user, but I already feel all my questions are answered - and if not, they do great webinars where they engage with you directly and address all your concerns. Conor did a great job!
