★☆☆☆☆ – Approved Withdrawals Still Not Received

My experience has been extremely disappointing. Two withdrawals of R50 each were approved on 26 June 2026, yet more than a week later I still have not received my funds.

I contacted customer support and was told the withdrawals had been approved. When the money still didn't reflect, I was instructed to contact another company instead of being assisted directly. As a customer, I should not be passed back and forth while my money remains outstanding.

The lack of communication, accountability, and urgency in resolving this issue has been frustrating. I have repeatedly followed up but am still waiting for an explanation, proof of where the funds were sent, and for my R100.00 to be paid.

I expect companies handling customers' money to take ownership of issues like this and provide timely resolutions. Unfortunately, my experience has fallen well below that standard. I hope this matter is resolved soon, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.

I'm writing this urgent before I go to financial ombudsman and gaming commission and press, I put down bets on coral eclipse race as attatched pictures, the horses got withdrawn out of the race and I went to greengates betting shop Bradford to be told I can't have my money back yet they were the ones told me I could when I put it down due because of a declaration not coming out, I feel I've been misinformed conned and lied to , a vunerable couple with mental health taken advantage of , so I'm raising this and will be posting it on social media sites to press and if need be court , its disgusting they got mixed up gave me faulse importation and I'm out pocket hundreds pounds, I want it sorted immediately so I can get it back,

Terrible experience twice I've placed two lots of bets on promotions and Twice they didn't pay out disgusting treatment never again

So when placing a tennis bet in shop I got referred to the terminal to place.

I struck the bet and on this occassion my player was a set up and 4-0 ahead in the second before the other player retired.

Thinking I had won with their own ruling being in place.
Went in today to collect to find my bet was voided! Different rules on the terminals apparently than online and over the counter.

I referred to the terminal rules in this BetFred and they are different.How can this be?

Whilst losing money everything was fine, as soon as I won my account was frozen. Betfred wanted copies of my passport, bank statements, utility bills etc. These documents in the wrong hands could destroy my life, so I refused to send them and asked for my funds to be returned. They said not unless I produce the documents. I replied donate my funds to charity and I will close my account. Atrocious customer relations within a substandard company. My winnings totalled £57. RIDICULOUS.

Beware - Betfred closed my account for no reason, didn't give me my deposited money, or my winnings. Do not gsmble with this platform, opt for skybet instead.

The account was genuinely closed for no reason, and they told me to call the police to resolve the issue of my money knowing I wouldn't. Gambling with them is a huge risk and your money may just dissapear.

Intentionally misleading welcome bonuses, and they refuse to accept any accountability in Live Chat.

The published promotional terms state that I must:

"Stake £10 or more on Slots at Betfred Games and/or Vegas within 14 days of creating your account." I complied with this requirement by depositing the required amount and staking more than £10 on a Betfred slot within the qualifying period.

I have now been informed that my play does not qualify because I accessed the game via the Casino section rather than the Games section of your website.

It's reasonable to assume that any Betfred branded slot would be eligible for this promotion, however I've been denied my promotion as this is somehow not the case, only because I had staked my £10 through the Casino section, instead of the Games section.

If Betfred intended eligibility to depend on using a specific section of the website, this is a significant condition that should have been made clear within the promotional terms. As they are written, a reasonable customer would understand that staking the required amount on an eligible Betfred-branded slot satisfies the promotion, regardless of whether that game was accessed via the Casino or Games section of the website.

So I wrote a review in December 2025 about Betfred UK's fine of £825k - fast forward to June 2026 and...sigh....yup you guessed it another fine from the gambling comission to the tune of £900,000.

biggest SCAMMING company, don’t EVER sign up and risk your money because of the promotional offer for new customers, they will refuse your award and take your deposit bet and tell
YOU that YOU did not conform to their policy correctly. They will point fingers at YOU and you may ask them to tell you where you didn’t meet their criteria and they will REFUSE to tell you because they ultimately just scammed you and took your money. any other company hasn’t done that, and this all happened live chat, one colleague saying you need to talk to the promotional team, and another colleague refuse to pass you on to the promotional team, and then will close the chat as soon as they realise they can’t prove their innocence and instead just tell you that you as the customer is wrong. I can tell you now, if you want to avoid being scammed, then don’t ever join with BETFRED- BIGGEST SCAMMING COMPANY IN THE MARKET.

Opted in for a free bet. Never got it so queried but sadly there are no support numbers any more. Waited ages for a chat and it was confirmed that as they had closed an old account created by mistake as a duplicate I was not eligible! They then ended the chat abruptly when I was asking questions.
