Brilliant communication and very helpful

This review is in relation to RB AUTOS SW LIMITED TA Bristol Car Centre. I couldnt be happier with the service I recieved and the communication they engaged with.
I sold my car through the MOTORWAY platform and RB AUTOS were the highest bidder. They were in touch straight away to arrange viewing / test drive and collection of the vehicle around my conveinence. They turned up on time; once vehicle all checked and happy they instantly transferred funds and smoothly completed transaction. I was very pleased with the interaction and would give them 5* as a trader that completed the MOTORWAY expectations / agreement to the letter.

Purchased a Golf GTI from this Company…

Purchased a Golf GTI from this Company in July 2024. Told by Steve the salesman that car had 82 point check and MOT and passed all no issues.
Collected the car and had to drive 140 miles home, after 40 miles the oil light came on, then the TPMS light came on. Pulled into garage and car had minimum oil in it and noticed no water in the washers, checked paperwork and you guessed it all ticked. Had to add oil to get it home. 2 weeks later oil light on again so put it into local garage who found that the sump plug had been held in with mastic, both front wheels had been welded in 3 seperate places and fault codes on OBD where plentiful, you guessed it all ticked as fine.
Garage collected car and fixed sump issue, not interested in wheels etc, but put 860 miles on the clock testing it with no offer of compensation. Argued the £53 I paid to local garage, agreed to pay it, but not seen it yet. As RAC dealer it should have had an RAC warranty and 12 months RAC breakdown, not materialised just got a cheap Autoprotect Warranty. When asked they have basically refused to offer the warranty or breakdown cover. Where this Company is concerned a warranty is not what you need, but a full time mechanic as they sell wrecks, are completely dishonest and any potential buyer should steer clear of these cowboys at all costs or suffer the grief as the 82 point check is not worth the paper it’s printed on, you have been warned!
