Vanilla and strawberry pure whey protein has great taste and mixes really well. Great price too!

I've bought creatine and vegan protein powder from them and never had issues. But this time I tried the strawberry flavour vegan protein (from vanilla) and I have severe stomach issues and bloating. I have a sensitive stomach and hence why I get vegan protein than standard whey. I contacted customer care to check if I can change the flavour or if the batch is defective, because strawberry, banana, vanilla never gave me any issues with different brands like myprotein. Customer care told me that they would contact the quality check team and I requested for a confirmation email of this escalation for my reference, hasn't got it, though assured I would get one. Also, he didn't provide me with any solution, just said I would be contacted.

Should have been next day delivery but ended up taking a few days although it didn’t cost anything so not the end of the world. A bit pricey for whey protein but cheaper than MyProtein as they didn’t have any discounts at the time. As long as they continue to be cheapest I will continue ordering from Bulk. I ordered unflavoured whey which although isn’t the best tasting flavour, is in my opinion a bit nicer than MyProtein.

Very poor product quality. The protein whey powder i was sold did not dissolve properly and the taste was nothing alike the advertised chocolate flavour. No, i’m not new to whey - I’ve been using myprotein and optimum nutrition for years and have enjoyed the taste of their chocolate shakes. It was very difficult to get a refund from bulk.

Nice and easy order. Good delivery. I like the flavour of the whey protein shake and it dissolves well. I prefer it to the the vegan shake I previously bought.

This company (Sports Supplements Limited) clearly believes their customers are complete and absolute idiots. Like many intelligent one star reviewers here, I have been using Bulk products for many years. My recent purchase of 2.5kg of Pure Whey Protein cost me £57. This was the basic price without any so-called promotional offer.

Bulk are now genuinely expecting their customers to believe that the ‘standard’ price of this product is £90, and that out of the goodness of their heart, courtesy of an unbelievable ‘Payday Sale’, they are offering it at ONLY £75!! This is an increase of £32.5%. Their so-called standard price would have been an increase of 58%!!

As of now, I am no longer a Bulk customer, and I encourage others to follow. Their cynical dealings and approach to customers and general marketing strategy is contemptible. I have no doubt that this review (like all other ‘bad’ reviews here) will receive an automatic, meaningless and bland AI driven response, fitting of the cynical operation they are……

Extremely poor experience – contradictory information about an order that was apparently never dispatched

Really disappointed with how Bulk handled my order.

I ordered Basic Whey Protein Strawberry 1.25kg and specifically paid for next day delivery. When there was initially a delay, Bulk refunded the next-day delivery charge, which I appreciated.

Unfortunately, everything after that was a mess.

While my order was still showing as “processing”, Bulk explicitly told me in writing:

“Your package has been dispatched from our warehouse and is currently on its way to the courier company.”

When Evri still showed that they hadn’t received the parcel, I contacted Bulk again. I was then told to allow more time because the tracking would update “as soon as the courier scans your parcel on their next operational day.”

Naturally, I relied on this information and continued waiting for my parcel.

Several days later, Bulk suddenly emailed me saying that when their warehouse team went to PICK my order, they discovered the product was actually OUT OF STOCK. They then cancelled my order and refunded me.

How can a parcel have already been “dispatched from our warehouse” and be “on its way to the courier company” if, days later, the warehouse apparently discovered while trying to pick the order that the product wasn’t even in stock?

That is the part I find completely unacceptable.

This wasn’t simply a delivery delay or an unfortunate stock error. I was given specific information that my parcel had been dispatched, then told the issue was waiting for Evri to scan it, only to eventually discover that Bulk apparently hadn’t even been able to pick the product in the first place.

I even specifically pointed out to customer service that the order was still showing as processing on Bulk’s own website, yet I was still reassured that I needed to wait for the courier.

To make matters worse, after all this waiting they simply cancelled the order and issued a refund without offering an alternative product or any meaningful goodwill resolution.

I understand that stock discrepancies happen. What I don’t accept is being made to wait for a parcel based on repeated assurances about its dispatch and courier status, only to then receive a completely contradictory explanation several days later.

Extremely disappointing and deceptive experience.

From someone who struggles with IBS the Clear Whey has been amazing on my stomach. The EEAs are also very good.

Bought 5kg unflavoured whey protein just over 6 months ago. The product is fine, but it was £95 then, it’s now £170!! Looks like they don’t value repeat custom. Rip off, especially when their competitor will do the same weight/product for £80.

Great products, delivery is always good and fast! On last order I got a vanilla tasting whey protein isolate, but the bag says salted caramel. Not bothered by it, otherwise great products. I also use the super strength omega 3, creatine and electrolytes mix, and the magnesium bisglycinate.

Bulk Whey product is a great help in controlling my diet and the ordering process is easy to do and the delivery is quick and efficient

I have been purchasing whey protein from Bulk for over a year. Website is very user friendly making ordering easy. They also often have special offers you can take advantage of. Immediate confirmation of order and always a speedy delivery. I have never had any issues

New (happy)customer here , and new to any sort of sport supplements..website is very easy to navigate and very clear product information.
I used electrolytes first time and they seem to be a game changer, definitely felt more energised and my legs didn't turn to jelly along the very hilly cycle ride.
All product came very well packed in a resealable bags with the appropriate scoup included.
I've done a lot of online and in-club research and Bulk was consistently praised for it's quality.

I wanted to love Bulk. Delivery was fast, the price was fair, and if the story ended there this would be five stars. Then I tried the malted chocolate flavour in the whey isolate.

It's genuinely the worst thing I have ever tasted. I know part of this is on me — I should have gone with plain chocolate, and I definitely should not have committed to a 5kg tub of it. But no amount of personal responsibility prepares you for a flavour this bad. I don't think anyone has emotionally wounded me the way the person who approved this flavour in a taste test has.

So here's the deal: if anyone from Bulk reads this, go try the malted chocolate whey isolate yourself, then reply to this review just saying you get where I'm coming from. Do that and I'll bump this straight to 4 stars — knowing you've suffered through even a spoonful of what I've got 5kg of.

Bought Pure Whey Protein with Chocolate - Less Sweet 1kg. Bulk shown its 23g protein. But the actual product shows 22g protein.
