Undrinkable Product.
I use protein powder frequently and thought I’d try BULK as I’ve had some of their other products and they’re relatively clean.
However the Vanilla Whey Protein Powder contains so much Stevia and other additives it is sickly sweet and leaves a disgusting after taste.
I emailed customer service and received a poor response with a paltry offer of a small discount code.
This is a stark contrast to another well known protein powder provider with whom I had an issue with 2 years ago and provided an outstanding response.
I will not be purchasing any further BULK products. They are cheaply made and full of additives. Disappointed.

The protein content on the basic whey is less per 100 grams than it's competitors by as much as 20g. The shake tastes powdery, and far inferior to similar competitors. The value was better than those competitors which prompted me to try Bulk Powders. I would say bulk powders isn't terrible, but I won't be buying their whey protein again. Their creatine is very good value, and tastes good, i'd buy it again.

Edit: I have recieved an email informing me that Bulk's basic whey has Soy Protein in it which is why it has a lower protein content. This doesn't change my review. In fact it makes me a little annoyed. As I bought 'basic whey protein' i expected just whey concentrate. I deliberately avoid soy protein as I prefer to avoid processed soy products. I should've read the ingredients properly as i never would've bought it.

Great prices but some of your artificial flavourings need work as they taste absolutely awful, however, if you get unflavoured its fine. I got the blue berry amino acids and double choc whey for reference.

I have been using the Whey Protein powder chocolate flavour for some time now and recently accidentally ordered the Natural Whey Protein powder also in chocolate. I have to say it is the worst tasting protein I’ve ever tried. That’s saying a lot as I’ve been using shake for 20+ years and they weren’t great back in the day.
Personally, I think there should be more distinction between the two labels as it was an easy mistake to make ordering the wrong product.
I’ll stick to the normal Whey and unfortunately have to throw away the Natural packet I’ve already opened.

Switched from my usual supplier due to an unacceptable price-hike, and after scanning a few reviews and asking my trainer I chose to try Bulk. Seems like a good product, and the delivery was very fast. I wish the whey isolate had an Informed-sport accreditation but nonetheless, fair pricing means I now have six months’ supply, so am a definite convert.

Bought products on the recommendation of my wife’s PT….i bought electrolytes, whey protein and creatine. I bought small portions as it’s my first purchase from BULK, and I must say I’m very pleased so far. Nice tasting flavours and more importantly the products mix well. Would definitely recommend the products

I bought the chocolate and coconut & Lemon and coconut whey powder and they are both delicious. Smooth texture and great flavour not too sweet! Definitely recommend this brand and the price is reasonable but definitely reflects the quality. Postage was extremely fast too

The pure whey protein unflavoured mixes quickly and easily. Unlike some other brands.
My delivery was incredibly fast.

Product delivered is of good quality and arrived the next day, even though I selected standard delivery.
The price of whey protein was lower the other large brands in the UK market.

Bought 5kg vanilla natural pure whey isolate for a fair price, very good quality and delivered in a couple of days, tastes great not too sweet because it’s sweetened with stevia….

I was looking around for a Whey Isolate Protein Shake that was reasonably priced and had decent reviews. There's not that many on the market so keeping the price down is tricky, but after comparing prices and reviews I went for Bulk. Got the vanilla flavour, which is by far the smoothest and nicest protein shake I've had. Almost american diner level nice! So easy order, best value and tastes amazing.

I was a loyal Bulk customer for around two years. Their Clear Whey Isolate had always been affordable, good quality and easy to mix.

Unfortunately, my latest order was completely different. The powder would not dissolve properly and produced a thick, lumpy drink. This was not simply a flavour I disliked, it was a texture and mixing problem that made the product unusable.

I first contacted customer services through live chat. I felt that my concern was treated as though I was simply trying to negotiate a refund. They said there was no known problem with the product and that nobody else had reported anything similar. A refund was eventually provided, but that was not what I had originally asked for. I wanted to return the powder so Bulk could examine it and explain what had gone wrong.

As I did not feel the issue had been properly understood, I followed up by email. Bulk replied that they had “thoroughly tested the product” and found no defect or wider concern. However, they had not asked me to return the bag, so it was unclear how they could have tested the specific product I had received.

They also described the issue as a matter of personal taste and suggested that I switch back to the previous version. This did not address what I had reported. My complaint was not about the flavour, it was that the powder was unusually thick, lumpy and would not mix.

I explained that I wanted to remain a customer, but Clear Whey is not cheap and I did not want to risk buying another unusable bag. Despite contacting Bulk through both live chat and email, nobody appeared interested in examining the product or properly investigating the issue.

I have now moved to ESN Clear Whey, which mixes extremely well and, in my experience, clears better than Bulk’s product did.

Bulk’s products had kept me as a customer for years, but their handling of this issue drove me away. The refund was appreciated, but the dismissive response and failure to distinguish between a flavour preference and a possible product quality issue were disappointing.

This was the first time I’ve used Bulk products directly through their website as I normally get what I need through Amazon …

Directly from Bulk, shipping was excellent,everything arrives on time and well packaged ,a day early to be honest ….
At 54 , the Bulk products I use help fill gaps in certain areas in my diet/daily intake and work well with what I eat and how I look after myself.
I don’t go to the gym but daily steps are well above 10,000 as an average , food is as clean as possible with zero processed meal or food products.
I do single kettlebell workouts every other day and with my bulk products, It helps me to maintain a healthy lifestyle that I feel comfortable with .
The Bulk products I use daily and can recommend are ,
Creatine monohydrate 5g daily,
Strawberry pure whey protein is 1 scoop daily ( this is nice 👍),
Multivitamin+multi mineral
1 a day,
Omega 3 fish oil 1 a day
And magnesium glycinate again 1 a day .
It took me a while to settle on this combo but it works for me and I will continue to use them.
Good products and decent prices and I will be using them directly from now on 👍

Ordered from bulk before one of the cheapest whey protein on the net, orders delivered fast.

Enjoy the product and the delivery is very good. 4 stars as the price of a regular whey protein I buy has gradually crept up in price, which has unfortunately led me to price check.
