I have used Cambridge Fibre for almost six years (Residential) and just over two years (Business). Their supply and service have always been excellent and I always recommend them to anyone looking for an Internet Service Provider.

Best broadband experience I have had across many providers by a country mile. Super responsive and impressively flexible customer service, immediate installation and flawless connection so far after 6 months. No regrets.

Great company. Easy to arrange. Installers were great. Easy to set up. Speed is as advertised. I needed an extra node. I wasn’t going to be at home and they delivered it same day to my workplace. Brilliant.

Simply the most helpful company. They said they didn’t serve our street yet, but that they would send their team out to see if they could. Within an about a week I was having fibre to the property installed. Exceptional price, exceptionally helpful team and service has been perfect. Over half the price of Virgin, double the speed and just loads better.

What a pleasure to deal with a company with good, local customer service, and competent installers, who don't mess you about. Cambridge Fibre was recommended to me by a Cambridge College who now use it for all their college-owned student houses. As they put it, "if there's a problem, you can just drop into Cambridge Fibre's office". A very refreshing experience, compared with their competitors!

I have been with Cambridge Fibre for several years now and am always impressed and grateful for the level of support they provide. Today I raised an issue on their website with the download speed I was getting. Within 5 minutes I had an email asking for more information and after 3 more minutes received a call from the support team. The problem in my computer settings was resolved immediately and I am back to fast broadband of 420 Mps.
I have never looked back since switching from a big national brand. Faster speeds, less money and top customer service.

I've been a Cambridge Fibre customer since December 2021 and my experience has been excellent throughout.

Service is always fast, reliable and delivers advertised speeds. In over four years, I've only experienced a couple of minor outages, and on rare occasions I've needed support, they responded quickly and professionally.

What really stands out is the level of customer service. When we needed an overhead cable moved for building work, Cambridge Fibre moved it the very same day. That kind of responsiveness is almost unheard of these days.

Before switching, I experienced both BT and Virgin Media. BT's answer to poor speeds was effectively "live with it", while Virgin Media seemed to specialise in annual price rises and highly variable performance. Cambridge Fibre has been the complete opposite: straightforward pricing, excellent speeds and genuinely helpful local support.

It's refreshing to deal with a local company that clearly cares about its customers. The installation, ongoing service and support have all been first class. I would happily recommend Cambridge Fibre to anyone looking for a reliable broadband provider in the Cambridge area.

I was struggling with to run my business on broadband of only 10 mbps (yes, you read that correctly!) until a colleague recommended Cambridge Fibre. I rang them, was offered an assessment appointment that afternoon, and after that assessment, the new broadband was fitted immediately despite the fact that a cherry picker has to be sourced in order to complete the job. I am now the proud 'owner' of an average download speed of 1060 and upload speed of 900. And the team were friendly as well as efficient. What's not to like?

After being with Virgin Media for what seems an eternity, Cambridge Fibre is a breath of fresh air! Installation was unobtrusive and smooth, listed to concerns and fitted exactly where I needed it Service is infinitely more stable and fast! Early days as it has only been a month but fingers crossed it continues to be excellent! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Having had excellent service provided by CF for a few years, we moved house into a property with no fibre, partly due to collapsed BT ducting. Every company involved didn't seem to want to know but Simon and co. at Cambridge Fibre were a godsend. By escalating the problem to an extent a member of the public couldn't do, they fought our corner doggedly for weeks until the problem was finally fixed. Absolutely blown away at their determination and professionalism. The new service is excellent and a big improvement on the poor value for money copper service from BT. Delighted and very thankful.

I signed up because I wanted to use a local altnet company in Cambridge rather than larger national providers. The village was recently upgraded to gigabit fibre using a third party company (City Fibre), Cambridge Fibre currently has an offer for £29 a month for the first year and the pre-existing lower-bandwidth BT ADSL (out of contract, paying £59 a month) was having difficulties so I it felt like time to switch. Switching was completed within one week and Cambridge Fibre took care of handling the BT side of things (we only had broadband with BT). Our location wasn't close enough to their equipment to directly connect to Cambridge Fibre but they explained we could use City Fibre to connect. The customer service representative, Simon, explained the pros and cons of this option and I was happy to proceed. The installation was mostly straightforward and was done within a couple of hours by the City Fibre engineers. Cambridge Fibre provided a high performance Xyxel router but Simon provided me with details of how to use my own gigabit router instead using the appropriate VLAN ID (we still have the provided router for future diagnostics if needed). Using the Cambridge Fibre speed test page I was delighted to see that is was giving 962 Mbit/s Download and 998 Mbit/s Upload. The connection has been rock solid since we had it installed. Additionally the process to get setup with a Direct Debit was straightforward. Very happy customer.

A local company that is always responsive when you call, Cambridge Fibre is such a joy after many years with the increasingly expensive Virgin Media. Highly recommended.

Communication was prompt and clear, engineers came when they said they would and installed the equipment neatly.

Switchover from previous provider was all handled well and new service is excellent.

I had an amazing pre-sales experience and the service has been excellent ever since. Every call I made was answered within seconds by someone directly involved in my connection, meaning no time was wasted "catching up" or being transferred. When my building management requested additional details to authorize the install, Harris went above and beyond—coordinating directly with the installation team and management to ensure everything was in place. The connection has been rock solid since day one.

I'm very happy with the service so far:
o Speed seems consistently good
o Price is fair
o Technical support are responsive, knowledgeable and English is their first language
o It is an utter joy never to have to deal with Virgin Media ever again!

Cambridge fibre were highly recommended to me, and they still surpassed my expectations. I haven’t had service this good in the UK for decades! They were efficient, effective, courteous, helpful and a pleasure to del with.
