I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I have had multiple appointments cancelled or removed without any proper notice or explanation, despite paying in full and confirming in advance. This has happened more than once, which shows a clear lack of organisation and respect for clients’ time and money.

On top of that, the receptionist is usually quite rude and unhelpful. Communication is poor, and instead of resolving issues, it often feels dismissive and unprofessional.

Overall, the service has been frustrating and unreliable. I would not recommend booking treatments here unless there are serious improvements in both customer service and appointment management.

I drove 1 hour to Orpington to attend a Sclerotherapy course this morning, which was rescheduled after being cancelled with 24 hours notice three weeks ago, after waiting approximately 30 minutes, the group of 6 was told the course was cancelled. People came from all over the county. One of the ladies had stayed in a hotel Monday night to be told the same this was Thursday, so twice in one week. Cosmetic collage you need to get your act together as you could have warned us all the previous evening, I believe. I have lost well over £1500 in earnings due to these two cancellations. Booking cheap courses can really cost you.

Purchased an online course…

Purchased an online microneedling course as have been in the industry 12 years and incredibly competent.
The course was nothing less that a total waste of money. After the emailing them there advising that there was nothing covered on speed of device, difference in cartridges for device and the very least - specific technique for specific areas - their response was ‘As outlined in our terms and conditions, once a participant has engaged with and completed the online e-learning course, we are unfortunately unable to issue refunds’.

If you’re thinking of buying an online course from them - don’t.

Serious Safety Concerns and Lack of Supervision Title

Review Title: Serious Safety Concerns and Lack of Supervision
Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆
I am writing this to warn others about a dangerous experience I had as an aesthetic model at this college. I have had treatments here before, but my last session was deeply distressing and physically risky due to a total lack of professional oversight.
The Incident:
During my treatment, the lead instructor was responsible for three students. She spent the majority of the time socializing and "networking" (even giving out her personal practice’s phone number to another model) rather than supervising the student injecting my face. I felt so unsafe that I had to repeatedly remind the nervous student to aspirate—a critical safety step to avoid injecting filler into a blood vessel. On one occasion, the student forgot, and I had to intervene myself.
Negligence by the Instructor:
When the instructor finally stepped in, she was dismissive of my concerns. While demonstrating on my lower jaw, she actually injected my submandibular gland. She admitted she knew she hit the gland and had to withdraw the needle. Even more terrifying, while working near my nasolabial fold, she moved the needle around while stating she could "feel the vein," which felt less like a lesson and more like a display of power or a threat to my physical safety.
Administrative Failures:
No Informed Consent: The receptionist nor the teacher never asked to sign any pre-treatment disclosure or consent forms, which is a major legal and ethical breach.
Dismissive Management: When I finally reached the college to complain, they defended the instructor, claiming I made the student "nervous." They brushed off the fact that the instructor injected a gland by saying "accidents happen" and suggested I simply see a different teacher.
Conclusion:
It felt as though the instructor’s lack of focus was fueled by personal bias or a complete disregard for the safety of a model. I am incredibly lucky I did not suffer permanent nerve damage or a vascular occlusion.
I strongly advise everyone—whether you are a student or a model—to avoid this college. They prioritize gossip and personal business over basic medical safety and student supervision.
That is the teachers picture that did this.

Unprofessional and callous…

After enduring a very harrowing time with my mother falling extremely unwell recently, I have had to cancel my upcoming training in July, whilst we share her ongoing care between the immediate family. Living 60 miles away from her and at this stage not knowing the prognosis or outcome of her diagnoses, life is very up in the air and upsetting, and I'm having to rearrange my own home and working life to this new normal at the time being, too-ing and fro-ing between homes multiple times a week for the foreseeable.

Having explained this to the college, I've still been refused a refund on the course as it's "past the time period" they offer refunds in.

This is extremely disappointing and quite callous given the exceptional circumstances, especially as I'm not enrolled onto the course yet and have not had any access to any learning material. I'm not just cancelling the course just because I've changed my mind or I've got a cold or a bug or some other excuse that would be understandable for them to keep the money, I'm cancelling due to my mum being extremely unwell and us not even knowing if she'll recover and be ok!

This situation has certainly put me off ever booking anything with them again. A refund could quite easily be given under such circumstances and a little compassion wouldn't go a miss either!

I was a model for dermaplane and microneedling. It was a great treatment, my skin feels so soft and smooth. The tutor demonstrated first and then the student continued the treatment, I was constantly asked if I was ok, and if the pressure was good. I felt totally relaxed and I would definitely recommend the treatment and the collage.

Appalling

**Review for Cosmetic College**

My experience at Cosmetic College was nothing short of appalling. The quality of training provided was so inadequate that it raises serious concerns about their commitment to genuinely preparing students for real-world practice.

Take the phlebotomy course, for instance. I found it utterly ridiculous that we were expected to learn on a plastic arm after just one practice session. With such minimal hands-on experience, I was shocked to be handed a certificate, which felt more like a formality than a reflection of any real skill or competence.

Things took an even more alarming turn with the PDO threads course. After completing the online theory—which was largely a rehash of the same content from the phlebotomy course—I was issued a certificate even before finishing the practical component. This not only enabled me to obtain insurance under dubious circumstances but also highlighted the college's negligence in ensuring proper training. It’s frightening to think that they would allow students to misrepresent their qualifications in such a reckless manner.

The overall experience was a disgrace, characterized by a blatant disregard for quality education and student safety. Cosmetic College's practices are not only unprofessional but also potentially dangerous, as they prioritize profit over the well-being and preparedness of their students. I strongly urge anyone considering their programs to think twice.
