Great service, patient with me, and quick to act

Always great service from Aish and her team, this year especially they have been very helpful and understanding.

I engaged this firm for urgent company accounts work that needed to be submitted by the end of the week. I paid £399 + VAT in advance.

The accountant assigned to me (based in India) was extremely difficult to work with:

Strong accent and very slow speech made conversations hard to follow, even when I made every effort.

Constant use of technical jargon with little or no attempt to explain things in plain English.

Repeatedly asked for information I had already clearly provided in writing. Both he and the firm followed up requesting details that were already in previous emails.

Limited familiarity with Xero. On multiple occasions I had to guide him on basic steps within the software. When a Xero bug caused a problem, I spent two hours resolving it myself because he did not know how to investigate or fix it.

VoIP call delays further worsened already difficult conversations.

Despite highlighting that the matter was urgent and giving them the opportunity to improve, the service remained unprofessional and unsuitable for my needs. I therefore cancelled the agreement and engaged another accountant who could meet the deadline.

They did issue a full refund of the £399 + VAT the next day, which I appreciate. However, the overall experience was still poor and I would not recommend them if you need clear communication, responsiveness, or solid knowledge of Xero for time-sensitive work.
