I wouldn't give any star if that was an option

I wouldn't give any star if that was an option. Had food delivered the other day. Driver didn't know on the door so food was left to get cold. A simple knock on the door would have sorted this. Have been refunded £8.99 but not good enough as meal was over £30 and cold. Rubbish service

Rude rider - Addidulla -Swansea

First thing the rider who delivered my food said “can you not read” These rider had a seriously bad attitude. I told him to come to front of the building 3 times, eventually he did. I complained to Deliveroo. Nothing has happened. Just like the rider, just poor with service.

AVOID DELIVEROO

AVOID DELIVEROO. Use anybody else. Deliveroo use sharp business practices such as offering money off vouchers for which there is always a reason in some small print that they don’t apply to you. Their Customer Service is appalling. Also, although Deliveroo says you can cancel an order (which I wanted to do because it did not honour my voucher), they never allow it, telling you that the restaurant is “unresponsive”.

I would give Zero stars but you have to click something. I ordered £68 worth of food from Shrimp & Co. The rider did not ring my apt number rather texted me 6 minutes before to say he’s leaving it outside. I went outside and no food! Called Deliveroo, driver lied and said he waited 15 minutes and they told him to “dispose of the food”. I could see him on camera never coming to the door, waiting 6 minutes, then riding off…NEVER AGAIN…DEPETING THE APP WITH A LOSS OF £68😡. CROOKS!!!!

Don’t use this service

Don’t use this service! It’s the worst service I have ever tried. First time and last time! They didn’t even deliver my order the first time. I called to complain, and they said they would redeliver it, but that never happened. I don’t understand how they still exist as a “service”

Same as everyone else! Items missing in my order and no support from Deliveroo!
It seems they are more interested in supporting restuarants who even if genuinely make mistakes and miss items in customers orders but still expect the customer to pay for them.
Clearly stated to me that KFC would need to pay for the missing items but when I made a claim and uploaded receipt I got a message on screen to say refund was not possible because of payment method I used which was a gift card. So guess it's my fault using a gift card eh? Two staff looked at my claim and still said no. So how did KFC get involved? They didn't! I would call the restuarant directly but when I got two hungry young kids I can't be bothered. Not fair on them to wait for their food! In the end I went to mcdonalds across the road and got them the missing items from there. I WILL NEVER USE DELIVEROO AGAIN! Hopefully they will go under and not exist soon enough. Useless customer service uncaring and more interested in making money from their servive fees rather than actually support a customer.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Agents completely ignored my issue and kept giving the same generic response. I was given a 50% discount code on orders over £20. My order came to £29 to which I paid £19 after the code. Through no fault of my own an item was out of stock and refunded which took me £2 under the threshold to receive £10 off my total bill. Had I been notified I could have adjusted my order to push it back up and still receive the £10 discount. Instead I will be getting £1 refund onto my card because I lost my £10 discount. The customer service agents were trying to make it out like I will be getting £7.28 back on to my card which is absolutely ridiculous. The proper thing to do would be to have honoured the £10 discount even though my order fell under the threshold by £2 or to have informed me in enough time to adjust my total or cancel my full order. What an absolute scam of an offer and shocking customer service with not one agent taking any accountability for the lack of communication. I’ve always chosen Deliveroo over any other delivery service, never again.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with…

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Deliveroo.
I placed an order from PAUL, and what I received was shocking. The bread was wet, and the macaron arrived soaked in some kind of liquid, which is completely unacceptable for food that is supposed to be fresh and properly handled.
To make matters worse, the packaging was not properly sealed, which raises serious food safety concerns.
I immediately contacted Deliveroo and provided full photo evidence, yet they refused to take responsibility. Instead of issuing a full refund, they kept offering partial refunds and account credit, ignoring the actual issue.
After multiple attempts to resolve this, they still refused to refund the full amount. This is extremely disappointing and shows a lack of respect for customers and basic consumer rights.
Customers should not have to argue to receive a proper refund when the food is clearly in unacceptable condition.
I will now escalate this through my bank.
I strongly advise others to be cautious when using Deliveroo, as they may not properly resolve issues when something goes wrong.

Deliveroo are a total rip off company

Deliveroo are a total rip off company. Part of my order was missing from costa and there was note in my delivery from costa saying that they were very sorry they did not have one of the items. Deliveroo have refused to refund for me for the item even after speaking to a so called manager. However they will take my feedback on board to improve the experience next time 😠 as if i would ever order off them again. Absolute downright thieves. Don't ever order off them unless you want to be charged for items you do not recieve.

Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could. Burger was missing from my order, one persons meal. I contacted them immediately and the bot told me nothing they could do. I’ve then been battling with them via chat and now email as they continuously say my claim doesn’t comply with their T&cs but won’t tell me what I need to provide or escalate my complaint. Trying to find where I can go to next to complain but it’s shrouded in mystery. 100% will not be using again

This has to be the biggest scam company…

Avoid at all costs.
For some reason, they employ people who either don't know the area they are delivering to, or can't understand how to use a SAT NAV.
I didn't receive my order, and won't get compensated apparently.
Also, not received any refunds (for out of stock items) since January 2026, neither in my bank account, Paypal account or as a credit note on Deliveroo account.
I feel this company scam people, just wish I had deleted my account the first time I wasn't repayed for missing items.
Hopefully, HMRC will investigate them in due course.
