DHgate.com is a big Chinese company scam! I purchased 4) watches from them 2) of the 4) are defective very poor quality! Their return is impossible, and the customers service won't help at all! Avoid buying anything from this company!

I would give zero stars if possible

I would give zero stars if possible. This platform is a nightmare for buyers. I ordered items (Order #317371200489) that were marked as 'delivered' but never arrived at my address.
The Seller (designerone): Completely unprofessional and rude. When I asked for help, they told me 'Don't you understand what I mean?' and refused to contact the carrier, even though the carrier explicitly stated that ONLY the sender can start a missing package investigation.
DHgate Customer Service: Absolute failure. I provided clear screenshots from DHL confirming the package is missing and stating that they require the seller to take action. DHgate ignored this evidence entirely and told me they would release my money to the seller anyway just because of a fake 'delivered' status.
They demand 'official lost reports' that carriers only give to senders, making it legally impossible for a buyer to win a dispute when a seller refuses to cooperate. This site facilitates mail fraud and has zero actual buyer protection. Save your money and your sanity—shop elsewhere. I will be reporting this to the authorities and my bank.

DHGATE extra hidden charges

I was charged an additional 1.53 euro upon delivery of an item I purchased from Dhgate.

So the price that sellers advertise is NOT a true representation of the cost of your purchase.

I complained to KC the DHGATE representative. He basically said it was my problem. Not the sellers .

I complained to the seller LUXURYSHOP_888
They told me ' tough luck' you will have to pay.
This store was also very rude when I was waiting an excessive time for my delivery. Lucky for me I'm too old and long in the tooth to be spoken to in such a despicable way. They were very quickly put in there place and I blocked any further communication with this store. I hope they will learn to treat people and customers with a little more respect in the future. But I'd advise you not to buy from them, because of the experience I had.

DHGATE informed me to contact a representative, so I did this today. But unfortunately nothing came of my issue.

DHGATE can be hit and miss. Some representatives truly do there best. ( Janli , you are excellent). KC. Not so good.

IM CURRENTLY TRYING TO SPEAK WITH AN AGENT, BUT SURPRISE SURPRISE,I CANT GET ACCESS TO AN AGENT. THE TING TONG AI BOT IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. ROUNDABOUTS.

My message to DHGATE is take care of your customers, don't give them the run around. A happy customer will continue to buy. An unhappy customer will be more reluctant. There are plenty of platforms to buy from.

Horrendous

I will never EVER use DH Gate ever again ….. ordered perfume now I know it wasn’t going the be the real thing obvs but had it before and it was lovely just didn’t last very long …. Anyway I ordered 75ml Baccarat Rouge 540 and what I received was a 10ml Chanel which absolutely stank to high heaven tried to get a refund seller kept declining so elevated it to DH Gate who unsurprisingly went in favour of the seller I sent 2 videos and 5 pictures and they said there wasn’t enough evidence 🙄 never had this issue with Ali Express or Temu needless to say lesson learned but for info the sellers name is “Luxuryperfumeshop”

I would rate them a zero if it was a possibility they have a company.They promote called oh my dress i entrusted them, starting march eleventh to custom.Make my wedding dress to which the order stated that I would receive with shipping and processing no later than april 4th .Today is april 14th. I fly out for my destination, letting in just a few days.Considering how long these items take to ship, I most likely will not receive my wedding dress for my day. I have stayed in constant communication in the beginning.They answered constantly using the word dear to which I thought was very nice at first once you have a complaint, they stop responding. They give you empty logistic promises. They don't answer any of your actual questions. As to why it's taking so long or where are we in the process or a timeframe? As to how long it would take, they do not put you at. Ease, they do not care about you. Their customer service literally takes your money. And that's that I have tried to work through DH gate, and all they do is give you the runaround as well. I even filed a dispute to which DH gate marked dispute worked out between myself and the seller, and it was not worked out the seller. The dress to shipped two weeks or more ago and the dress has never shipped the seller themselves told me over a week ago that they were just on the hymn of the dress, still with no explanation as to why this wasn't made a priority when I paid for insurance paid for extra shipping and was promised, the dress before the fourth of april with processing and shipping. Please if your event is important.Do not order from this company.Unless you have an extreme amount of time or money to waste, do not waste your time.shipping number even pla e on dress and the seller confirmed this was never shipped YT2609900704241860. DON'T DELIVERY YOUR ORDER AND COULDNT CARE LESS

If there was 0 stars I would choose that, ordered a pair of Chanel fake sunglasses beginning February - got an email to state order... then nothing no communication. Thought it abit off they did not arrive for about 6 weeks checked with them and they said DELIVERED. The seller was not forthcoming with the details of any courier just kept giving me a tracking number and telling me to contact the post office. If the royal mail were delivering them they would leave a card if I was out and there has been no delivery. The tracking code doesn't work on royal mail website and the seller keeps just repeating themself and saying they have been delivered. There is zero customer services, I know its in China, but the communication is appalling. Seller DOESNT CARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS THAT DON'T DELIVERY YOUR GOODS. AVOID AVOID AVOID.....absolute waste of time and money.

I ordered the goods and they didn't come. I wrote for a refund and they only replied "OK" and nothing more. So far, neither money nor goods. I've been waiting for a refund since February. I don't recommend them.

Scam-like return policy

Scam-like return policy – forced to pay €80 for defective product
I received a defective product that does not match the description.

According to the agreement, the seller is responsible for the return shipping costs (“shipping costs will be borne by the seller”). However, DHgate still forces me to pay around €80 upfront to return the item to China.

This is completely unreasonable.

The seller refuses to provide a prepaid return label and does not cooperate at all. DHgate’s solution is that I take all financial risk first and “maybe” get reimbursed later. There is no guarantee, especially with international shipping and customs risks.

So the situation is:
• Product is defective / not as described
• Seller refuses to cooperate
• No prepaid return label is provided
• Buyer is forced to pay high costs upfront
• Platform refuses to take responsibility

Customer service keeps repeating the same script and eventually closes the chat without offering a real solution.

This is not buyer protection.

I strongly advise others to be careful when ordering from DHgate. If something goes wrong, you are on your own.

Sellers are scamers i buyed a jaket in worth of 100 Euros and became a different jaket in worth of 2 Euros, i sended the jaket back for 30 Euros shipping cost and the seller dind acept the jaket and i got no refund from the seller he just keeped the money.
