Thanks to Connor Quinn for assistance with my application for recent rental.
My one complaint was my original viewing being cancelled on the morning of the viewing with no explanation and not informed verbally but by text.

It was our first time renting through DJ Alexander, and it was by far easier and more accommodating than previous letting agencies. We were provided support and clear instructions at every step. Customer service was top notch, with Gael Mitchell being friendly and incredibly helpful in getting us accustomed to the building and checking thoroughly that everything was in order before leaving us (checking door locks, fobs, mail box usage etc.) She was a great help and made the process less stressful and more enjoyable whilst still maintaining professionalism.

Excellent service from the team, especially from Caroline Connelly who met us twice at the property and was warm, friendly and professional.

I want to share how grateful I am for Saif Tufail’s help resolving a bed bug issue in my flat. I won’t pretend the start was easy — there were some delays early on, and I know that’s often out of an individual’s hands when everything needs landlord sign-off first, which understandably takes time.

But Saif communicated clearly, kept me updated, and made sure the treatment actually got sorted. I’m now sleeping soundly in a treated flat with a new bed, and honestly, that peace of mind means a lot.

Thank you, Saif, for your patience and for genuinely seeing this through. It’s not lost on me how much of a difference good communication makes when you’re dealing with something this stressful.

As a repeat client of DJ Alexander I’ve just received a first class service from Benjamin Kelly. Ben found excellent tenants for my Edinburgh house after only one mornings viewings, lasting 90mins or so! Ben was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, an excellent communicator and clearly experienced at what he does. A completely stress free experience. Thank you Ben and DJ Alexander.

We had a couple issues in our rental property pop up in quick succession and Saif Tufail (the Property Relationship Manager) was keen to respond and booked contractors to come sort out the problems immediately, which we were very grateful for!

I have to say a Great big shout out and Thank You to Leandra Brown in the sales team of the Edinburgh branch whilst it has been a difficult decision to sell my Edinburgh property just off the Royal Mile as it was mainly due to personal matters which meant financially it was what I had to do, however, it has been a total pleasure and extreme ease dealing with the sales team, Leandra has kept me updated and dealt with things collating everything together instead of me talking to various depts making the whole thing flow with ease. Leandra has been both professional and personable at all times, helpful every step of the way. It is not often you get to deal with someone like Leandra Brown (although DJ Alexander do seem to employ the best) but she truly is a star. I am always pleased with the service I receive from Gill Annand. She is incredibly helpful, efficient and trustworthy, and nothing is ever too much trouble. She always gets things done quickly and efficiently, and I can completely rely on her to take care of everything.

I am also always very happy with the tenants she proposes for my properties. She clearly understands what I am looking for and consistently finds suitable, reliable tenants.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gill and I am genuinely delighted with her service.

Jessica Leggate from the Aberdeen office provided excellent support following the end of a tenancy, when refurbishment work was required at the property. She was proactive throughout and provided clear, regular updates on the progress of the contractors, right through to the successful re-letting of the flat. I was very pleased with the service provided and would be happy to recommend Jessica and the team.

I was helped by Innes Donald throughout the checkout process, and he was helpful and professional from beginning to end. Highly recommend!

Charlotte was efficient and friendly, getting the job done with no fuss or drama.

Stephen Allan in Byers Road couldn’t have been more helpful for me organising keys, sorting out logistics with other contractors and making sure my job was as easy as possible to organise, he’s always polite, professional and has a nice demeanor

Caroline Connelly provided an amazing service, showing me everything I needed to know and ensuring I was happy and satisfied with the property. The move in was smooth and welcoming thanks to her!

Outstanding service from D.J. Alexander – a highly professional and genuinely supportive team

I would like to give my highest commendation to the team at D.J. Alexander Sales and Lettings in Sunnyside, Edinburgh for the excellent service and support provided throughout the tenancy and, in particular, during the end-of-tenancy process.

A special mention must go to Beth McNamara, End of Tenancy Property Manager, who handled matters with exceptional professionalism, fairness and understanding. Beth took the time to listen, considered the circumstances carefully and communicated clearly throughout. Her calm and balanced approach helped ensure that the end of the tenancy was managed smoothly, efficiently and without unnecessary stress.

I would also like to recognise Johan Ross, Senior Property Manager, who was equally professional, approachable and fair. Johan listened carefully, understood the issues involved and dealt with matters in a sensible and constructive way. It was very reassuring to deal with people who combine strong professional standards with genuine empathy and common sense.

Throughout the tenancy, Phoebe Conod, Emma Fairgrieve and Harrison Reeves also provided excellent support. Whenever maintenance or repairs were required, matters were handled efficiently and without fuss. Communication was clear, issues were followed through and the necessary work was organised with minimal disruption. From a landlord's perspective, that reliability and attention to detail is extremely valuable.

What has impressed me most about the D.J. Alexander team is the consistent sense of professionalism, fairness, responsiveness, integrity, respect and customer focus. They listen, communicate well, take ownership of issues and work towards practical solutions rather than simply processing matters mechanically.

Good property management depends on trust, communication and the ability to deal fairly with both landlords and tenants, and this team demonstrated those qualities throughout.

Beth, Johan, Phoebe, Emma and Harrison are all a real credit to D.J. Alexander. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Sunnyside team and would be very happy to deal with them again in the future.
