Arash the engineer was bang on time having driven from Glasgow. He we a very personable guy and despite having difficulty with his mobile phone reception managed to complete his service of our system. He was also extreemly helpful to us 80 year oldies in resetting some aspects of the system like temperature and what to do when the battery runs out etc. Thanks and well done Arash. you can come again.
The Pink Pig Provides Excellent Service Again......
Craig, the young engineer, arrived just after nine, as agreed. I'm a poor sleeper and early mornings can be something of a nightmare fur me. He came in, wiping His boots, we then had a wee chat about my problem. My ASHP had stopped working, this I reported on Monday and an engineer was due tae call next day. He Did!!!
Mae service was overdue, sae a service was carried out which highlighted the problem. This meant only a service charge instead of a repair charge followed by a service charge. Energy Pig really do try tae help keep costs down, which as a Pensioner is a great help. Craig did not have his Card Machine with Him, sae he sent details through tae H.Q. where a Receipt plus Details were raised and sent to me, I then paid mae bill. (E.P. do a payment scheme whereby payment can be staggered)
Craig did mention the loudness of the pump, He was able tae adjust it....which has reduced the noise quite a lot. A wee chat about general care and a few personal words then He was Off back tae Glasgow!!

NO NEW ROOF
I was approached by this company in May 2025 they offered the reroofing of my flat roof through the government paid scheme they done the survey and after many texts and emails I was told it the scaffolders would be out then it change not once but three or four times according to the weather but the weather here was fine next it was Christmas so in January 2026 I phoned them yet again and was told yes I was definitely getting it done as they had the funding for it to my surprise the same week I got a call from a company called Heat they said my details had been passed on to them what I want to know why as Energy pig said they had been given the funding from the government to do the roof where did the funding go ?

Terrible service and Lies
I had intially had a very good experience with them when a lady called Caroline was involved throughout my grant application process however after she left the department it all went quickly downhill.
My flat was surveyed for suitability and the grand application was approved; however when the instulation fitters arrived they said there wasnt enough room for me to get the grant (not sure why this wasnt picked up by the surveyors).
Energy pig then said they would contact Ofgem to see if I could get an exemption. Months passed and no communication. I eventually contacted my MP to see if they could do anything and soon after I got contacted my Ofgem who stated that there was no such communication of Energypig on my behalf.
It turns out I could get an exemption and I forwarded the details to energy pig. I got an email from David Vincent Macneill (Head of Decarbonisation & ECO) who said "Hi guys I will pick this up" - it seems he meant to just reply internally but I was included in the email.
I forwarded David the information so far however this email and all emails after were ignored.
Fair enough if the company do not want to help with this exemption side of things (they were the ones to contact me to say they could help me in the first place) however just let me know rather than ignore? Terrible customer service.

Arash came along to fix a simple fault that unfortunately turned into a pain because our internet is really slow and we live in an old cottage with thick stone walls.
He was here about 2 hours fixing a problem that should have taken 10-15 mins. He was really patient, taking his time to make sure everything was working properly before he left.
What a lovely friendly guy.

Big project taken on by energy pig
Had a major project taken on by energy pig. Started with a response to a Facebook post that they were surveying in the area (we live on the Isle of Lewis), followed by quite a lot of messaging to check what was possible under the grant scheme, but when the work commenced the guys where charming, professional and did a great job.
They worked around our family as the house was pretty full and we managed to get the whole home fitted with radiators, a boiler and airsource heat pump. Then we got the flat roof replaced and solar panels fitted. Finishing off with the upstairs insulated and replastered. Very happy with the work and the professional way it was carried out to fit around our big busy house. Highly recommend.

STAY CLEAR!
STAY CLEAR!! I was advised that we would have the 1st year service carried out for free as they installed the Air source Heat Pump. However, I received a call asking for £250 payment so they can carry out the the service. First of all I was shocked at the price but proceeded to explain that I have the first one free. They told me NO and that I had to pay for it. I was told that if I didn't pay for it then my 7 year warranty will be void! I explained that I will need to shop around as I didn't know what others charged (others are much cheaper). She phoned me back a few times over the next couple of weeks as they were eager for the business. She explained that if I take our their servicing then they will fix any issues free of charge, however I now don't trust their word given that they initially told me that the first service was free. I suspect they are talking about the manufacturer coming out under the under if anything went wrong. I emailed Nicola multiple times now asking why they were not honoring the first free service but I've had. Zero response. They are quick enough to call us when there is a sale in it for them but anything other than that, they ignore their emails! Stay clear!
annual system service
I arranged a system service and Arash the engineer arrived on time, and was very polite and knowledgeable and answered more than a few questions and left everything neat and tidy. Hope he comes back next year
Use a different company
The survey team came to my house in December. I still don’t have my panels installed. No one has contacted me I always have to contact them. They can be exceptionally rude on the phone. I was told it would be done early 2025. 5 months since the first visit and they still haven’t discussed options with me and no installation date. They were sent to me via Octopus Energy.
Boiler service
Boiler service arranged. Arash arrived on time. Polite and friendly. Service completed, no mess, answered a few questions I had. Hopefully see you same time next year.

Have no complaints whatsoever did a great job I'm based in Ravenstruther took the guys hour and half to get hear came on time insulated cieling bords then plasterd over them and cleaned up after them the guys were really polite and you could see they were proud of their work they done so I would say I would 100% recommend this company

Was unfortunate enough to have this company install solar panels and heat pump. That was the plan-they didn't turn up. The survey team were fine, helpful and efficient, installation supposed to be around January 24. Phoned to chase this up, supposedly "all ready to go", still not happening. Phoned recently, "get my manager to ring you back", never happened. Complete and utter waste of time for everyone. No doubt someone will now post a reply saying "how sorry we are about your experience, we don't understand how this happened. Rest assured we do our utmost to make sure our customers receive top quality service etc etc" Except they didn't. So if you want a job doing, get someone who has a job they want to do. And think about why a company with so many supposedly positive reviews fails so badly.............

Our annual boiler service was carried out this morning by the very efficient and polite Arash.
Arrived on time and answered our questions very knowledgeably. The heating system is now operating as it should.
