The service is worse than that of scam companies

They have fake locations, regardless of which country's VPS you take - they are all located in the Netherlands, because of this, often instead of a specific country, the Netherlands is shown, which completely disrupts the whole logic of buying a specific country for work. Also, on May 20-21, there was a major outage, absolutely all servers went down, EVEN THEIR OWN WEBSITE DIDN’T WORK. Now the site is active, I logged in and submitted a ticket about the problem that my servers are still unavailable, I am losing a lot and there is no compensation - it has already been 5 days since I submitted the ticket, there is still no response, it says it is under review and that's it. Oh, and the funniest thing is - they won't give your money back, they say they can only return it to the balance if you're lucky enough to get a response from support, I've been waiting for any kind of response for 5 days already!

This is completely unacceptable

This is completely unacceptable. I paid over $60 for a VPS with 20 vCPU / 16GB RAM, but the node is clearly heavily oversold.

I’m only using it for basic remote desktop tasks, yet even simple operations like opening PowerShell or browsing folders in File Explorer are extremely laggy and barely usable.

This level of performance is far below what should be expected from such a configuration, and it’s making the service practically unusable.

No VPS and No refund

I ordered a VPS specifically because I needed the server to be located in Georgia. The VPS delivered to me was located in Netherland instead. I requested a refund promptly because the delivered service did not match the agreed requirement.

The most frustrating part was the support experience. The support team repeatedly responded with irrelevant or generic answers and did not address the actual issue I raised. Their replies felt automated or poorly handled, as if they were not properly reviewing the case.

The refund was refused, and later the service was removed from my account. At that point I had neither the ordered service nor a refund.

I am sharing this experience so other customers can be aware of how this issue was handled.

KYC after payment

After I paid for the services, they immediately required verification. This was not mentioned anywhere — not during the order process, nor during the balance top-up. As soon as you add funds, they suddenly and unjustifiably demand verification and request personal documents.

This feels like a new type of scam — asking for personal documents for a company that provides no clear information about itself. Avoid this company.

A 100 percent fraudulent organization

A 100 percent fraudulent organization. They accepted my deposit of $120. But no services were provided. I've been waiting for my server to open for over 8 hours. But nothing happened. Besides, I can't withdraw the $120 they have left on their balance.

1/10 — Poor experience with GEO.Hosting (Georgia VPS)

1. Extremely slow server deployment
After ordering a VPS server in Georgia, I had to wait over 12 hours just for it to be set up. All I wanted was to at least test the server, but the hosting provider doesn't offer any hourly or short-term plans, so there was no way to do a quick trial.
2. Forced KYC verification after payment
Once the funds were already in my account, the administrator demanded that I complete identity verification (KYC) and submit personal documents. This requirement was not mentioned before payment or during the server order process — only after my money had already been taken.
3. Refund refused
When I requested a refund, the administration refused to return my money.
Summary: I strongly advise against using this hosting provider. The lack of transparency around KYC requirements, unreasonably long setup times, and refusal to issue refunds make for a very poor and untrustworthy experience.

Server advertised in Georgia but physically located in the Netherlands — refund refused

I ordered a VPS server advertised as being located in Georgia.
However, after deployment, network diagnostics clearly showed that the server is physically located in Western Europe (Netherlands) instead.

I verified this using an MTR test from the provided server to a confirmed Georgian host (cloud9.ge). The results consistently showed:

latency around 60-70 ms,

routing starting from Amsterdam (Telia AS1299 adm routers),

traffic leaving Western Europe before reaching Georgia.

If the server were actually located in Georgia, latency to a local Georgian network would normally be below 5 ms, and routing would remain within regional upstream providers.

I immediately contacted support and requested cancellation and a refund since the service location did not match what was advertised. The server was not used for production workloads and caused no operational impact.

Support responded that third-party databases may be outdated and suggested checking RIPE information, which does not confirm physical server placement but only IP allocation data.

Despite providing technical evidence and requesting resolution shortly after purchase, the provider refused to issue a refund, stating that the service was delivered in full.

This experience raises concerns regarding accuracy of advertised server locations and customer-oriented dispute resolution.

❌️Avoid this company❌️

They took my payment, then suspended the service and demanded KYC after payment. KYC was never mentioned anywhere on the website before paying.

I refused to send sensitive ID documents for privacy reasons. No service was provided, and no refund was given at all.

Many reviews report the same pattern. Not transparent. Not trustworthy.

KYC Trap: Service refused and refund denied without ID

I paid for a VPS service using cryptocurrency. Immediately after payment, the provider suspended my service and demanded KYC verification.

I chose crypto and this specific provider for privacy reasons, so I didn't want to share my personal documents for a small order. I asked for a simple refund since no service was provided.

To my surprise, they refused to refund my money unless I completed the KYC process first. This is a classic "KYC Trap"—they refuse to provide the service and then refuse to return the funds. Effectively, they just kept my money. Avoid this provider if you value your privacy.

A phishing website offering hosting…

A phishing website offering hosting services. They first take money without providing any of their advertised services, and then ask for documents.
They stole $10 from me and asked me to complete verification by phone, then by email. I did everything.
An hour passed, and they wrote that I needed to send them documents. I haven't used their services.
Beware, these are scammers!!!
They'll steal your money, then you'll need to ask for documents.

SCAM

I used their server for a year than I had a message:
"Our fraud detection system has flagged your account for a routine security check to safeguard your services and prevent unauthorized activities. To restore full access to your account, please complete the KYC verification..."

Manager 2025-11-03 02:50:24:
"Hello. Your servers are currently blocked because our antifraud service detect your activity as potentially malicious. We ask you to complete KYC so we can activate your servers again."

Support Manager 2025-11-04 11:51:08:
"Hello. Unfortunately, a refund is not possible because you paid with cryptocurrency. This is stated in our refund policy."

Just scammers. "to safeguard your services and prevent unauthorized activities" and "our antifraud service detect your activity as potentially malicious" sound like shit and scam: opposite reasons and no chagrebacks.

The server was suspended without explanation

The server I paid for was suspended without any particular reason. At first, I was on vacation, so I didn't have the opportunity to find a new server for a few days, which was very frustrating and unexpected.

They never explained to me the reason why they refused to continue providing the service I paid for, and never refunded me, despite my written support requests.

I paid for a VPS service at GeoHosting

I paid for a VPS service at GeoHosting, and everything was fine until they suddenly suspended my account claiming it was a "routine security check".

They are now forcing me to complete KYC (ID verification) without mentioning this requirement before payment. I don’t feel safe sharing my ID for a small VPS service, especially when I already paid with crypto — and now they refuse to refund me.

This is very unprofessional. If KYC is mandatory, customers should be informed before payment, not after taking their money.

I do not recommend GeoHosting for anyone who values transparency and privacy.

These scammers stole $250 from me

These scammers stole $250 from me. A few days after I paid for the VPS, they blocked me under the pretext of verifying my documents without any grounds. When I asked them to return the stolen money, they said that their policy does not allow it.
