I cannot thank Greg and his colleagues enough for the sensitive, professional and dignified way in which they handled the arrangements for my late mother's cremation and funeral service. Although we were only a small group of close family in attendance, and we had, in accordance with Mum's wishes, planned only a simple event, no effort was spared in making this a perfect send-off for Mum. Greg's words, taking their lead from our own input, were the perfect way to help us remember and reflect on what Mum had meant to us. It was a morning cremation, and set the scene for us to remember Mum throughout the day, visiting places and food she had enjoyed with us in the past.

Greg and his team recently helped with the burial of my dear sister. We were kept informed at every stage and all the staff showed a deep respect and care for her. Diane and Tracey were so kind and empathetic when we contacted and visited the funeral home in Garstang and helped ease the situation and take away the stress. On the day of the funeral, Greg and the pallbearers were incredibly respectful to my sister and the friends and relatives who came to say their final goodbyes. Greg himself look so regal in his top hat and we couldn't have wished for more attention and understanding. The follow up communications have also been second to none. I couldn't recommend their services more highly. Thank you all so much.

I apologize for my english because it can be a little incorrect . I am a Polish caregiver who cared for a wonderful man for many years, my beloved client, Gary Leck who diedc20.09 .25 . I would like to thank Greg Hodgkinsons Funerals for their care, kindness, and professionalism in organizing my client's funeral. Gary had no family, and after the death of his parents, he was placed under the care of my company Haven Group in Morecambe . His death was a very difficult experience for us, and we really wanted his final journey to be as peaceful as possible. During such a difficult time, your help, professionalism, and attention to detail were of immense importance to the small but loving team of Gary's staff, for whom Gary was like family. You organized everything with tremendous care and respect, which resulted in a beautiful, intimate ceremony. I'd like to thank the lady from the Garnstag office who accompanied the Gary ceremony , but I also want to special thank another wonderful person: the Alison - woman who officiated the ceremony, who prepared a heartfelt and beautiful speech to make the ceremony full of meaning and emotion. Greg and his entire team were amazing. From the very first contact out of hours, right through the entire proceedings, and afterwards. They were able to advise us on other available services, (florist/celebrant etc) but there was no pushy sales techniques. They treated the whole family with the utmost respect and dignity at all times. Greg went absolutely above and beyond to assist us with putting us in touch with relevant people locally for a ceremony to bury my father in law's ashes, after parts of our plans fell through last minute. He responded to our query outside working hours and despite there being no financial interest for him. He was kind, helpful, and compassionate.

I would therefore feel confident predicting that you would be in very safe hands if working with him on a paid basis.

Greg Hodgkinson Funeral service has been of the highest reverence and thoughtfulness. Both with Greg and Roz.
My wife past away suddenly at the end of October, Roz was always available and able to discuss matters to do with the arrangements, details of the funeral and help with how I was coping with my sudden loss.
Greg also let me know that he was available any time of the day if I needed to talk or have a question.
The day of the funeral was a very smooth and dignified send off, made very special by all the staff involved.
The Celebrant Jeffrey Borradaile was also exceptional in the way he wrote and spoke.

Our Uncle passed away last December and as my cousin and I don’t live in Lancaster we didn’t have any idea who to contact and to be honest we didn’t really know what to do to arrange a funeral. I found several numbers online and this was the third I called and I knew from that first conversation that I need look no further! Their care and warmth started right from that first phone call when I was told it would be an honour to look after our Uncle and that he would be on safe hands. As I live in Essex this was so reassuring.

Everyone I spoke to on the phone was lovely and we were guided every step of the way. When we met Greg and we were going through the final plans for the day, he reassured us by saying “everyone will follow your lead on the day and all you two need to do is follow me” what a relief that was.

We were kept informed all the way through the process, provided with contact details for other services and options on price given as we needed them.

At such a sad time all people want is kindness and warmth and this is absolutely what we got.

Every detail was taken care of, our Uncle was treated with care and respect. The after care service is exemplary
