We had a group of 11 with reservation…
We had a group of 11 with reservation at 8 pm. We get seated and the waiter rushes over and said we have to order quickly because the kitchen was closing in 20 minutes! Why the reservation at 8:00? So we manage to order by 8:30. Two of us ordered the filet (steak). It came to us, everything cold and instead of medium well, it was pretty much rare. So we returned those. The waiter was very rude and came back and apologized. It wound up costing, for two meals, 240 dollars. Huge disappointment!

Grøften is not what it use to be
“Grøften” is not what it use to be! The dishes were tasteless and the presentation was lame. It’s not a place to go if you like good quality food! The service is so..so!

Nothing but a tourist trap.
The waiter serving us did a very good job, super attendance and swift service, he can easily reach 5 stars - but the food! We were 5 people ordering "juleplatte" - They have had a busy time in the kitchen opening poor quality supermarked foods trying to fix it a little up with onion rings and salad blades, but honestly - I haver never experienced poorer balance between quality and prices. The worst tourist trap I ever visited.
