I immediately liked Robert who was very friendly and polite. When I returned many hours later he had left the flat very tidy which was very pleasing. I'm very hopeful if a successful outcome as I feel it's too early to say yet. I did notice a live bug on the curtain in my living room which was very disappointing as the infestation was only in the bedroom. I have to say it worried me as I hadn't seen any bugs in my living room before the heat treatment. Should I be worried? I managed to kill it. This was at about 8am on the morning following the treatment.

Do not use this pest control service.

They were quick to take payment for a bed bug treatment guaranteeing that they will return if bedbugs reappear within 4 months …. When they did reappear , it has been a big struggle to schedule them to come and treat it. They will come up with all the excuses in the world to delay and postpone.

Scott was amazing, he came on time we this is are 3rd treatment with JG pest control and by far the most thorough he did things other people left out, he was amazing at his job

We have only just got our treatment for bed bugs completed so I don’t know if it’s been successful yet but purely based off my customer experience I would say 6/10

The sales guys are very knowledgeable and will give lots of great advice but I would ultimately advise you to request to speak to a technician because we had one booking date that got pushed back after preparing it to the reps specifications and then being told by the technician the space wasn’t prepared appropriately.

On the day we did get the treatment completed we had further stress when the technician said he couldn’t park in the space agreed with the customer service team.

Ultimately however, they waived both their fee for re-arranging the appointment and agreed to cover the cost of any parking fine incurred from parking in an appropriate spot so I do think they are fair, if not 100% up front and realistic about the work required to prepare a flat for this kind of treatment.

I was very happy with Richard today , we had a heat treatment . He checked all rooms to see if everything was ok before he started, very professional service . I would recommend using them .

Unreliable, cancelled appointment twice at last minute, ineffective treatment (more wasps after 2 visits than before the initial one), expensive, inflexible. I should have read the reviews before I paid for their services. Would NOT recommend.

I had 2 wasp treatment for a wasp nest. No investigation as to where the wasps nest actually was. Just treatment in the “entry” hole, which done absolutely nothing. Had to get someone else to come and treat the nest in the loft. Avoid do not waste your money.

Pathetic service for Bed Bugs

Very bad experience with this company . I arranged a pest control with them for bed bugs for which I paid £300 . They give a guarantee for 4 months post treatment. A week after the treatment, when I got on bed , there were lot of bugs crawling into my body again , so had to sleep elsewhere . When called the company , they said I have to sleep in the bed and get the bites in-order for them to do anything further . They mentioned they would do the second treatment only after 4 weeks , while during the period , I have to be the host for the bugs .I paid for the treatment to avoid more bites , while they are mentioning that I should be the host for them and that’s how nature works .They customer services and the person answering the calls were very rude . It looks like I lost my money and the problem isn’t resolved even a bit . They mentioned i could have gone for the pricier option , as if 300£ is cheap for what they offered .I could have used the regular pest control bottles for much £5 , if I had to still keep getting more bites for 4 weeks until they would do something . In their terms they mention of doing the treatment again if it doesn’t make any difference .I opted for chemical treatment expecting it would make a significant difference after the treatment. I wasn’t expecting a 100% , but at least 80% for the cost I paid.

Too soon to say how effective the treatment was but full of praise for Ashley, who was very punctual. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took time to give advice and suggested practical solutions, which we much appreciated.

When they came back the second time the wasp nest in our wall was treated properly and the issue was fixed within 24 hours. All wasps gone.

Same day treatment of my wasp nest. Fast, professional service, with the option for a free call out if the wasps are still around after 7 days. Very happy to recommend.

Following on from my review at the beginning of July, and being asked by the company to contact them to sort out the misinformation I had been given, nothing has been done. Several emails went back and forth between myself and customer services. I emailed floor plans and photos of each flat, as requested, was told treatments could be provided, with a guarentee, and another person at the company was asked to confirm details. Despite chasing this up over a period of a week, no response.
I have since gone with another company who have gone above and beyond with their help and are visiting for the second treatment tomorrow.

Great service, effective treatment, kept me updated on ETA. Very helpful and courteous too.

"Like other reviewers here, my experience with JG has been appalling. They took over PestGone, who I had used previously without issue, without notifying customers of the change.

What followed was a catalogue of failures: an inadequate first visit that missed the primary entry point entirely, foam proofing that rats can simply chew through, two cancelled follow-up appointments, a visit booked on a day I explicitly said I was unavailable, and now two months of silence with the treatment still incomplete.

When I raised a formal complaint I was told the first visit and general conduct was adequate. It was not. Avoid.

Half arsed company parading as professionals. There time windows are ridiculous, always changing. Wasp nest in the eaves of a summer house, sprayed ineffectively, didn't get rid of it. They revisited, sprayed foam this time - which a cursory glance online reveals in essentially useless for non-visible wasp nests hidden in cracks or crevices - then when quizzed by me "what if this treatment doesn't work" he replied "Well there's probably not much we can do". This kind of attitude comes from just wingin' it the entire time. Do better! Obviously people with super simple pest issues to treat will be fine with this company, but if there's anything a little more challenging, forget it. JG, maybe start taking some pride in the quality of your work, because these negative reviews are going to start showing you up for the half arsed company you are. How did your technician not know how to deal with a hidden wasps nest? Maybe he should look online before he comes round and acts like it's probably not going to get sorted, after I've paid you do that precise thing. Just that narcissistic attitude of doing the very bare minimum, and not giving a damn if they fail you, as they got there up front payment. They set it up like this to have the power over you. Better and more decent pest control companies only take payment AFTER successful treatment - wild idea! That's how it should be.

JG also totally over charging everybody. Near enough £170 for this fail of a treatment. I highly recommend people look elsewhere than these polished pretenders. At the front end they seem decent. In reality, rubbish.
