The booking process, the staff, pick up and drop off were all easy and great. The campervan was great to drive, so easy, even reverse parallel parking was a breeze. The layout inside the van is not ideal and bed/cushions very uncomfortable. But we still enjoyed ourselves.

Extremely disappointing – premium price for an old and potentially unsafe camper
We paid the highest price for the Sunseeker model and, based on the advertising and photos, expected a modern, well-maintained camper. Instead, we received a very old vehicle with over 470,000 km and numerous problems.
Among other things, the seat belts, air conditioning and radio were not working properly. The lights had to be repaired, several buttons on the blackout blinds were broken, the rear/boot area did not close properly, and part of the refrigerator setup was damaged. The bed linen also appeared not to have been washed, despite this being included in the service.
Because of the necessary repairs, we lost an entire evening/night and were unable to continue our journey. What was especially disappointing was that, despite reporting all these issues and specifically requesting a replacement vehicle, we were given the same camper back after only some repairs.
We were told that all of their vehicles have around 400,000 km. However, during our trip we met several other JUCY customers whose campers had only around 100,000–200,000 km.
The vehicle handover was also far too rushed, and we found the staff unfriendly and not particularly helpful. Most concerning were the safety-related issues. At times, we did not feel safe driving this vehicle, especially at night.
For the price we paid – particularly for what is supposed to be their premium model – this is simply unacceptable. The photos and description created a completely different expectation from the vehicle we actually received.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Based on our experience, we would never book with JUCY Campervans again and unfortunately cannot recommend them.

Rented a campervan from JUCY and had an unusual number of issues across two different vehicles: a cracked radio that also stopped working whenever the engine was off after being “repaired”, dirty and broken camping chairs, a dirty sink at pickup, no dishwashing equipment provided, a fridge that swung open during braking, a check engine light that came on three times (roadside assistance confirmed the fault code had already been cleared before my hire, meaning JUCY was aware of the issue in advance), a broken headlight on the replacement van, a starter battery that drained despite nothing being connected to it, and a gas bottle that had been expired since April and could not be refilled anywhere. I reported all of this with photos and was told compensation would be reviewed after the rental ended. Since returning the vehicle, I have followed up multiple times and received no response regarding the refund. Disappointing experience given the number of separate issues on two different vans and the lack of follow-through afterward.

NEVER ever book with Jucy!! Terrible customer service and false advertising. We had so many issues with our Crib Plus van - the bed was broken, there were several issues with the electrics in the car causing the fridge to turn off constantly and spoil our food, the lining of the car was falling off and had previously been stuck on with blue tack, both the indoor and outdoor tables were broken… just to name a few!!! We reported these issues during our trip, and our complaint was ignored - we were offered an insulting $24 refund for a $2,000+ booking. Absolute joke. Couldn’t recommend them less!

Hiring a Jucy van ticked off all my requirements for a mature-aged, first time van-lifer. The 4 night trip around far north Qld to assist a friend with a house move was perfect to try the solo van-lifer life!

We hired a Suzuki swift from Queenstown NZ
The car was old and it was of poor quality
Rust, front bumper cracked and chips and dings throughout the exterior
Nice young guy serving us but
They were understaffed when collecting the car and it was a long process
I regularly hire cars on my holidays but I would definitely not recommend this brand

Super friendly staff, pick up shuttle service from and to airport made it super convenient
First time we used their service and will be our go to from now on. Highly recommended
