I don't know what to compare it to. But this was the best model I could find for replacing my 2002 Crestliner Fishhawk. I was happy to watch a youtube video from Marine Parts that showed how to do it. That was extremely helpful. Installation wasn't exactly easy but was pretty straight forward with the video. Works as expected. I did have to find .20 Bullet terminals to soldier on so it would plug in.
