Really good clear information on the install was given prior to attendance and during the installation. Professional, polite, and executed with no drama. Would have no trouble recommending Mayne as a realiable choice for having your work done.

Moved to the area and needed the boiler servicing and was recommended Mayne Gas Heating Ltd. From start to finish Mayne's were very professional and fantastic service.

Our 19 year old Gazco gas fire was starting to fail intermittently, resulting in a call out to Mayne Gas Heating in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. They attended promptly following my call and the engineer was able to effect a temporary fix, resulting in it mostly working during the coldest week of the UK winter (-7 at times), for which I was grateful. They advised it was likely to fail completely, and recommended replacement of the ignition and thermocouple, of which one was available from the OEM and one was a generic part - repair was authorised as the better alternative and booked in for within the week following parts’ arrival. The engineer came on time, was respectful of my home and got to work quickly, having to modify the generic part so it could be fitted. The fire not only now works but seems to operate more efficiently than it had been for some time, I have waited almost a week to see if it continued and it now works as good as originally. I am very pleased with their work, price, promptness and care taken, and hope it lasts another 19 years!

We have used Daren Mayne for many years and have always been more than satisfied this time they replaced our old gas boiler and hot water cylinder it took 2
Nearly 3 days to fit due to changing the heating pipes but throughout the team we're curtious and worked hard. We will continue to use Mayne Heating.

From day 1 when Steve came to look at my bathroom the whole process was carried out with consideration and care. I was given 3 possible design to choice from.
A special thank you to Charlie and Steve first class work. I cannot praise them enough nothing was too much trouble. they were always on time polite and caring, cleaned up every night.

From the very first telephone contact right through to the follow up call the morning after my install. This company has been a model of professionalism, they keep you informed all the way through the process, the two guys that came to do the install were extremely polite with a fantastic work ethic. I can not rate this company any higher for me they are a definite 10/10 and if I have any more need of a plumber for any reason they will be my first call without a doubt.

What a magnificent company. After several heating engineers coming to my home and changing things my heating started working. However two weeks later it stopped no heat to radiator
A heating engineer had previously changed a pump. I decided to call Mayne a man came out did a fault finding exercise and told me the problem
Darren Mayne came out the next day and went through everything with me. They commenced work the following week. Two fabulous lads came out protected my carpets extremely polite. Finished the job after two days. Heating worked perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble. They definitely restored my faith in excellent heating engineers that knew their trade with expertise. Highly recommend this company and will only ever use them in the future. Many thanks to Darren Mayne and the highly efficient lads that did the work.

Very happy with the service, came out quickly to fix the issue and get our heating and hot water back on after we had been messed around by another company. Both engineers were very friendly and helpful, and kept us up to date throughout :)

Mayne Gas Heating have just completed a boiler repair call out for me. This is the first time I have used them and I chose them from their online reputation, in particular that they are Trading Standards approved. I had a previous "Not at all good" experience with another local heating company and was quite wary on this occasion. I had no need to be - Mayne Gas Heating lived up to their reputation. The engineer, Shaun arrived when he said he would, letting me know in advance. He quickly diagnosed the problem, resolved it and then carried out a service on the boiler. What I particularly liked was the fact that he explained in straight forward terms what he had done, why he had done it and gave good advice. There was no hard sell or unnecessary work , just a professional job from a polite and personable employee who inspired confidence in his company. The safety certificate and job report was emailed to me within a couple of hours. Their charges are fully explained before hand and are reasonable. Absoutely no hesitation in recommending Mayne Gas Heating - we will certainly use them again.

Mayne Gas Heating recently came to our rescue after a bodged boiler installation by a supposed leading national installers of boilers. Not only had we been left with a gas leak by the original installer, but water was pouring down our walls.

I’ve covered what happened on Mayne’s Google review page. But, I also want to share some words here too because there is not enough praise I can give to these wonderful people.

Mayne was not responsible for any of the issues we experienced. Yet, they were the ones who have put everything right and in the most professional way possible.

When we contacted the original installer, we were told it would be another 3 days for a plumber to be sent to stop the water leak. We called Mayne instead and they came within the hour!

Today, Mayne has also restored the plumbing to the upstairs of our property. Their work was so neat, you can barely tell we’ve had anyone in.

When you experience cowboy traders it’s really difficult to let people back into your home. Mayne has restored our faith not just in tradespeople as well as people to be quite honest. We were extremely lucky to find them on Google.

Also, Mayne is one of just FIVE plumbing companies in Grimsby to be accredited by CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering). That tells you all you need to know, especially if you’re a customer currently in search of a plumber or gas engineer in the local area.

Darren, so called engineer called and swore at me because he didn't like the way I spoke to the call handlers, who were useless.

Useless company that overcharge using uncertified staff.

I recommend Mayne Gas 100% . All the staff are friendly , helpful and so well mannered . Charlie serviced and repaired my boilers and fires thoroughly and efficiently.
They turn up when they say they will and do the job that needs to be done , whatever it is .
And they make it so easy for the customer . Thank you all

Superb experience and very professional from the first phone call to the completion of a new boiler and water tank installation. This was the first time using this company and would not hesitate to use them in the future ,i can not praise them enough .Excellent advice from Darren and top notch work from both Charlie & George great guys and very hard working.
