★☆☆☆☆ Absolute disgrace — incompetent, uncaring, and heartless
I wish I could give zero stars. What NCF Living and their delivery partner Furdeco put my family through is nothing short of scandalous.
We ordered a sofa specifically built to fit narrow stairs — confirmed suitable by their staff at the time. Promised delivery: 12–14 weeks. Reality: 18 weeks of chaos, lies, and total neglect.
The nightmare we endured:
❌ SIX failed deliveries: Constant no‑shows, false excuses, and we even caught them out claiming “no access” when we had CCTV proving otherwise — later admitting the sofa wasn’t even on the van.
❌ Exploited vulnerable customers: They pressured my mother‑in‑law (87) and her partner (90) into paying an unfair £89 “re‑delivery fee” — after store management explicitly promised there would be absolutely no charge.
❌ Left them stranded: For seven long weeks they were stuck on makeshift seating — in pain, stressed out of their minds, and terrified — while NCF Head Office and Furdeco passed the blame back and forth like a hot potato.
❌ Impossible to deal with: Furdeco’s call centre is a cruel joke — hours wasted in endless queues, getting contradictory answers, and zero accountability. NCF Head Office ignored emails, dodged responsibility, and showed not a shred of common decency or compassion.
❌ Wasted time & money: Multiple trips to the store (49 miles total), days lost on calls and chasing — all because their system is amateur from top to bottom.
To be crystal clear: Becky at the Preston store was an absolute credit — she fought for us, told the truth, and did everything humanly possible to fix the mess created by her own employers.
NCF Living Head Office and Furdeco?
Arrogant, unprofessional, and completely lacking in basic decency. They hide behind fine print, refuse to take ownership, and try to pass off refunding their own unfair charge as “goodwill”. It wasn’t — it was just correcting their own blunder, and even then they fought us every step of the way.
They have no idea what customer care means, and clearly don’t care about the misery they cause. Avoid this company like the plague — especially if you are elderly, vulnerable, or simply expect people to keep their word.

Tristan @ Manchester
Lovely chap, very patient and explained everything very clearly to us. Easiest purchase ever making it the easiest experience
My partner and I walked into your swansea store, we had a lovely welcome with your staff, we went upstairs to look at a few mattresses, we were then greeted with your lovely sue, she was a breath of fresh air, she showed us a few mattresses with no pressure whatsoever, we told her what we were looking for and she took us straight to it, we laid on it and it was perfect, we felt like we had known her for ages, she is fab and a credit to your store, we will definitely be coming back and telling our friends about the lovely sue and your store, we are very happy thank you lynn and Mark ❤️❤️
Just went to have to look around we knew we were going to need a new sofa soon so was just looking to see what’s around. The staff in the Bristol Cribbs store were so friendly without being pushy or in your face.
We actually ended up buying a sofa today when we didn’t intend to! Marina was so friendly and knowledgeable and didn’t pressure us but when we decided on the purchase she really knew all the information we wanted to know. It was so quick and easy! I cannot recommend the store enough and saw plenty of other things that I would love for my house so will be back!
Khaled at the Bradford store was great. Helped us find the perfect sofa.
Went into the Preston Store today. Very friendly smiling staff member Saad greeted us at the door, made us feel welcome and was very knowledgeable throughout. Will definitely be back.
Great service from Becky at the Preston Store. Helpful without being overbearing and was able to organise our delivery requirements. Thank you
Aaron was very helpful and knowledgable He also pointed out a great deal for a bed which saved us a lot of money
Philip @ Manchester 10/10 service and really happy with my purchases.
Brendan in Paisley was great. We’d already visited a few local stores where the service drove us away. Brendan was a stark contrast to this, allowing us time and space to browse whilst also being on hand for any questions. In turn we’ve now walked away with our dream couch - thank you!
Tristan at manchester was fantastic!
