Daily review until this company give me the refund on my furniture! . Avoid this company! If you see the their shop entrance go next door! They promised a refund once they collected the faulty goods that was nearly 5 weeks ago . So they have my money and my furniture. Trading standards and social media is my next port of call !

Came in to NCF Living at Chester to purchase a bed. Was greeted on entry by Jason. Offered assistance and a coffee while we browsed the collection. Customer service was excellent, Jason at Chester made himself available without hovering over our shoulder. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Sofa arrived damaged, so clearly no QA in the warehouse, they had it almost a week before it was delivered.
The very first unit removed from the wagon had a large split in the seam and a bent connecting peg.
Called and was offered to either accept the sofa and await a repaired unit, not something I was willing to do as I would then be responsible, and paying for a degraded unit that would likely worsen over time. Or reject it and await a replacement, a further 13 weeks.
At this point we had gotten rid of our old sofa so 13 weeks is not something we can wait on as we had nothing to sit on.
To add insult to injury, I called their number to complain, I got a lady who was a little on the rude and obnoxious side, now I will admit, I wasn't my normal self, but I was not rude, obnoxious nor was I raising my voice and shouting, but I wasnt in the mood for taking crap. Unlike this lady, who kept talking over me, when she asked if I was willing to accept the damage unit, I stated no, and as I was explaining why, she spoke over me 'yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but....' - Now I'm sorry, but in CX you do not speak over the customer making a complaint, I was not talking in a manner that would prohibit her passing information, she was just clearly plainly rude.
I stated that I wanted a refund as none of the options present were reasonable, she told mne if I was to make a complaint she would give me an email address, or I could fill in a form for the damage.....however, at the time of writing this review, I am still waiting for any email with any details from NCF 1.5 hours after my call.
Not impressed, I should have listened to my friend when he mentioned seeing NCF on Watchdog a few days before I purchased the Sofa, I saw the replay, and so far its bloody spot on...avoid these, spend your money elsewhere

Great service in store and wonderfully priced products. Was servered by Philip in the Manchester Branch at White city.
Back in March we placed orders for a Sofa, Chair, Beds and a Dining Table and chairs. As we were awaiting completion on a new house (scheduled for midJune) we were advised to get them all on 1 delivery for simplicity, seemed the right move. Unfortunately NCF don't place the order with the manufacturer until nearer the date and as such in May when they placed the bed order they were told the ones we chose were no longer available. We therefore had to go back and order different beds which ultimately would not then be ready for mid June - we were told we had to pay everything in full by mid May to guarantee delivery, which we did. The service after this was appalling from both the Head Office and the branch, we went into the branch several times to get an update but were told we had to contact their delivery company (Furdeco) to see where our beds were. Why when our contract was with NCF should we be ringing the delivery company - this went on weeks. Mid June passed and still no beds and because it was a linked delivery no Sofa, Chair, Dining Table or chairs which were all just sat with the Delivery company. No offer to deliver them so had to wait for the Beds - these were delivered into NCF on Tuesday 23rd June and we were told Ferdico would collect them at the end of that week and arrange delivery to us. For the next 2 weeks we rang Ferdico daily and went into the branch at Birstall 3 times - yet no-one could tell us where the beds were. After asking for our rights on cancelling we were then ignored by the branch and it was forwarded to Head Office - finally they agreed to deliver the Sofa, Chair and Dining Table and chairs - this was Friday 3rd July. The beds then amazingly followed on Mon 6th July - no calls from Simon at the Birstall branch to check how things were - all they did was fob us off. We were at a loss how such a big company doing the same thing week in week out could not tell us where our goods were in the system - very poor service and pretty much no interest once they have your money.

We attended the store with high hopes, a first we had customer service which we never had experienced before when making a big purchase like this, I even left a 5 star review (obviously deleted this now). However, please do not be fooled by this company, they only want your money and then the customer service goes out of the window. We got told to contact the store when we had moved into our house (even signed an agreement and paid a deposit) to place the sofa on order. We called the store assistants number and the company number over 20 times with never any answer! Meaning we had to re attended the store which we live 10 miles away. From this we waited 8 weeks for the sofa. The sofa arrived the complete wrong size from no mistake of our own but the store assistants who had ordered the wrong size! The people who delivered the sofa could not take this away and told us to get in touch with the company. Well this was again an impossible task. We called again over 20 times with no answer or option to leave a voicemail meaning my partner had to again back up to the store. Which resulted in us also finding out we had been overcharged by hundreds of pounds also as well as the sofa being wrong. We got told to wait for a call which we did not receive meaning we had to re attended the store and sort this whole situation out. We are now having to wait another 9 weeks for a sofa leaving us with one that doesn’t even fit in our room. AVOID this store at all costs! Hopefully we receive the correct sofa in 9 weeks….
Jim Bob at the Leeds store was very helpful. Listened to our needs and allowed us time to browse. Made recommendations and very knowledgable. Keen to see us buy a sofa specific to our own individual needs. Great guy.
