Do not get a contract with Onecom they will entrap you in a long contract and they quadruple the cost per month half why through the contract unless you get an other 36 month contract out with them
I moved my business mobile contracts to…
I moved my business mobile contracts to Onecom after being reassured by their salesperson, Gareth Duggan, that they were “nothing like Kynex” and that honesty and customer service were at the core of their business.
A key part of the agreement — confirmed on a recorded call — was that Onecom would buy me out of my existing contracts:• £2,996 + VAT for my O2/Kynex contract• £456.11 (incl. VAT) for my EE contract
They paid the EE amount correctly. However, when it came to the O2 contract, they only paid £2,539.89 — simply deducting the EE amount from the £2,996 figure, rather than paying what was actually agreed.
This has left me significantly out of pocket and now being chased by O2 for money I shouldn’t owe.
When I raised this:
I was told it was MY responsibility to prove what was agreed
I was informed it could take up to 30 days to access THEIR call recordings
I was expected to listen through and find the evidence myself
Meanwhile, I’m left dealing with debt collection pressure.
This is not what was promised. This is not good customer service. And this is not how a company that “relies on repeat customers” should behave.
At best, this is a serious administrative failure. At worst, it feels like mis-selling.
I am still waiting for:
The correct payment to be made so I can settle the O2 balance
Accountability for the error
Any form of meaningful resolution
Until this is resolved, I would strongly advise other businesses to be extremely cautious and to ensure EVERYTHING is clearly documented in writing before agreeing to anything.
Very disappointing experience.

Formal Complaint – Misrepresentation, Non-Delivery, and Incorrect Billing
Several weeks ago, I was contacted from a 01908 number by a representative who led me to believe they were calling from Vodafone. At no point was it made clear that the caller was from Onecom. The conversation focused on my Vodafone contract ending and upgrading, which I now believe was misleading.
As a result of this call, I agreed to a new contract, including a handset (iPhone 17). However:
I have still not received the phone several weeks later
I was later told there was no stock of the white model and offered a black version, which has also not arrived
I have already been charged £86 despite being told the monthly cost would be £60
I experienced a loss of phone access due to delays in receiving SIM cards
Attempts to contact your company have resulted in calls being cut off
I believe I was misled into entering this contract and that your company has failed to provide the agreed goods and services.

I cant really review onecoms service…
I cant really review onecoms service for large companies and their ability to provide larger scale tech support, however when dealing with onecom recently I have been in effect reminded that vodaphone and onecom have a nice situation if you report a lack of signal on which to work with, vodaphone refer you onecom and onecom tell you as they cant ring you they will close the matter, as the entire issue is lack of mobile signal was the inital fault I find it equally frustrating and amusing that in effect " as we cant phone you due to a rubbish signal we will close the matter "
It may be a good service for larger users but in effect I cannot see any point for smaller users,
