The approach to scheduling is great albeit not without its drawbacks. A scheduled break in my classes for 2 weeks due to availability resulted in my status being changed to unofficial withdrawal. This... See more

Have enjoyed this college so far. The instructors and staff are great, and they're always there to help you when you have questions. The only problem I'm seeing is that I am having my employer pay for my college, and that information does not get sent to them in a timely manner, but it will get worked out
My experience at this university has been truly fantastic, and I am extremely grateful to all of the faculty and staff who supported me throughout my educational journey. Every professor I encountered was helpful, encouraging, and genuinely committed to helping students succeed. Whenever I experienced a problem or needed assistance, there was always someone available and willing to help. I often speak proudly about this university to my fellow nurses, friends, and colleagues and share how positive my experience has been. I am very thankful for the education, guidance, and support I received along the way. This university has played an important role in helping me achieve my educational goals, and I will always be grateful for the experience. Thank you to everyone who helped make this journey such a positive and memorable one.
Every time it is time for a financial aid disbursement they have system issues.
From the very first conversation I had with a Phoenix representative I knew this was the school for me. They listened. They explained any concern or question I had with professionalism and knowledge. The online program works perfect for my schedule and I understand the instructions well. The teachers and staff are kind and considerate when it comes to an issue or question I have. I would highly recommend the University of Phoenix to anyone seeking higher education.
When I first enrolled to complete my Bachelor's Nefi was my enrollment advisor and he was great. I never felt pressured always lead positively. He checked on me enough times where I didn't feel annoyed, I am very self sufficient.
Whether you or someone you know are enrolled do yourself a favor and ask for Nefi in Admissions.
My experience from June 2025-April 2026 was absolutely greattt!!!
Now I am enrolled in the MBA program.
My experience with university of Phoenix overall has been not so good. I only hear from them when I miss a class or Miss attendance. They don’t call when you’re doing well. The communication very much lax. This is my third- degree with them and it’s still the same repetitive motion they only reach out when they think that you’re going to drop out or fail out when you’re doing well they don’t call you. They don’t try to motivate you at all.

Financial aid department continuously required me calling to connect them with my actual schedule. Some professors are unprofessional and I feel sorry for all to follow who have to deal with their views. Other issues.

Timely communication and feedback, supportive faculty, great resources
First I was told some of my previous credits from other schools would transfer and nobody from the school even attempted to check to see. Financial aid is horrible!! You may or may not get your living expenses money and people at the school don’t care, if you get it you never know when you will get it and if you mention filing a complaint be ready for the consequences of retaliation. I have one week left and considering not finishing and filing a complaint with students aid for telling me my credits would transfer and nobody even checking. Don’t waste your time at this school, find one that actually cares about it’s students

The professors and advisors are making this experience really easy.
It was successful just taking too long to start the class.
I have had a very positive experience with the University of Phoenix. One of the biggest benefits for me has been the flexibility of the online learning environment. Having 24/7 access to my classroom makes it much easier to balance school with work and other responsibilities. I can complete assignments, participate in discussions, and review course materials around my own schedule rather than having to attend classes at a specific time.
I have also been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout all of the programs I have taken so far, and I believe the structure and accessibility of the courses have played an important role in helping me stay successful and motivated.
The professors have been friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. I especially appreciate that many of my IT instructors have extensive real-world experience in the technology field. They are able to connect what we are learning in class to situations we may actually encounter in our careers, which makes the material much more valuable.
I have also had excellent experiences with my financial and academic advisors. They are helpful, responsive, and regularly remind me about upcoming deadlines, opportunities, and things I may need to apply for that could benefit me as a student. I appreciate that I do not feel like I have to navigate everything on my own.
Overall, the University of Phoenix has provided me with a flexible and supportive educational experience. For someone who is working, has a busy schedule, or needs the flexibility of online learning while pursuing their education, I would definitely recommend considering the University of Phoenix.
The financial aide department along with advising were completely wonderful in assisting me to decide which pathway to my degree was the best fit
Way overpriced for an online school. The Pell grant should be more than enough to cover everything online, but no they overcharge so u get those federal loans. And they profit and profit. There's cheaper online schools out there that the pell grant more than fully covers. If you want an overpriced school that takes their sweet time when it comes to financial aid, enroll here.

UOPX was with me 100% of the way in my DNP program. Support was always provided when needed. The faculty was knowledgeable and supportive. It was a VERY rigorous program, and I feel an enormous sense of pride and accomplishment having completed it.
My experience was a good one. Classes were very informative and assignment instructions were very detailed.
THEIR FINANCIAL AID DEPARTMENT DRAGS THEIR FEET KEEPS CHANGING MY LOAN AMOUNTS WITHOUT CONSULTING ME OR EXPLAINING WHY. THEY WANTED TO HAVE A GRADUATE ON THEIR BOOKS SO THEY ADVISED ME NOT TO CHANGE MY PROGRAM EVEN THOUGH IT TOTALLY SCREWED UP MY FINANCIAL AID. AND THEY TRULY HAVE NO REGARD FOR THEIR STUDENTS AND THEIR FINANCES SINCE THEY ARE A FOR PROFIT SCHOOL. IT'S KINDEGARDEN COLLEGE. IF YOU DO THE WORK YOU WILL PASS BUT THEY WILL HAVE TAKEN YOU FOR ALL YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL HAVE A WORTHLESS DIPLOMA. THE ONLY THING I LEARNT WAS TO DO MORE RESEARCH NEXT TIME I PICK A SCHOOL.
